[Just A Gift] Camilo x Reader (Encanto)

Y/N's POV

It's been a week since I've moved here to Colombia. I still haven't gotten used to my aunt's house as yet. Everything is so new, the food is new, the people are especially the Madrigals. Each one of them has a gift, except Mirabel. My aunt says the house didn't give her a gift now everyone thinks she's an outcast. 

I thought she was still special wether she has a gift or not. They shouldn't treat her different just because she doesn't have a power. 

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my aunt calling for me. I went to see if she wanted help but she just wanted to make me see the Madrigals since their helping people. I looked at them in amazement their powers were all so unique. 

"Oh, there's Pepa, I'll go talk to here. You wanna come Y/N?" My aunt asked.

"Um, no thanks I'll just stay here."

My aunt simply nodded and walked off to speak with Pepa. My aunt and Pepa have been good friends since they were 5. If my friendship isn't like theirs, I don't want it. My eyes suddenly catch Camilo shape shifting while holding a baby.

A/N: had to add the gift

It was cute just like him. Cute? I think he's cute? I can't I don't even know him that well. I looked back up to where Camilo was but he wasn't there anymore. I looked around trying to find him to only noticing he was standing right beside me. I screamed noticing him.

Camilo POV

"SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO SCARE YOU!"

The girl tried to get back to her normal breathing pace. "It's alright you just snuck up on me. Anyway what are you doing here? Like next to me?"

"Oh you looked confused and I wanted to see if I could help you." She smiled and said "It's nothing you should be worried about besides I already figured it out. But thank you anyway"

"Oh ok if you say so bonita. Wait what's your name?" She blushed at the word bonita, she then replied with her name being Y/N. Y/N? That's a pretty name I thought to my self. "Well I'm Camilo Madrigal, nice to meet you Y/N" she laughed as we shook each other's hands.

"Did you just move here?"

"Oh yeah I moved in with my aunt she's the lady speaking with your mom."

"Wait, you're Mrs. Axel's niece?"

"Yeah, why?"

"You don't look anything like her, you're more pretty that's for sure. WELL I mean I think all girls a pretty heh."

"You think I'm pretty?" A blushed came across her face and I feel my cheeks warming up. What was this feeling? As I was about to speak I was pulled away by Dolores. "DolORES WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" 

After she pulled me away from Y/N she was screaming in a high pitched way. "Ok why did you bring me here exactly?" "Because you would mess up and regret what you've done and said to that girl."

"Why would I regret what I would have sai-"

"Because you have a crush on her!" Dolores gave me a smirk and I could feel my face heating up again. "D-DOLORES I CAN'T HAVE A CRUSH ON HER I JUST MET HER!"

"It's called love at first sight."

"OK first of all, I don't believe in love at first sight, second the girl probably doesn't even like me."

"So you're saying you like her?"

"NO- J-JUST FORGET ABOUT IT"
