Finally,there was a knock on the door I rushed to open it and when I did it revealed my best friend. Benny. "Hey y/n, you ready to go" Benny said to me "as ready as I'll ever be Rodriguez" "ok let's get going then shall we" Benny said to me holding out his hand for me to take. When we got to the sandlot we was greeted by the boys. "Hey y/n,hey Benny" the boys all said to us "hi guys" me and Benny replied. We played for about an hour until it was hams turn to bat. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that we have a knew boy called scotty smalls but we call him smalls. "Hamilton 'the babe' Porter long ball Corner, come on Denunez show me what you got" ham said copying what the babe did causing us all to laugh. Han missed the first one. Denunez gave ham his heater which when he hit it went over the fence into mr mertals yard. "Ham you idiot now we can't play no more!" Benny called out. "Gosh ham your so annoying now I have to go back to see my shity brother of mine thanks" I said whilst rolling my eyes. Benny laughed. "What u think it's funny do you Rodriguez" Benny laughed and came over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist " you know u can always spend the day with me you know" I was about to say something when I got cut off by squints screaming "NOOO!" Me and Benny turned to see the new boy going to jump the fence. Benny being Benny'ran to get him down from the fence. You can't go back the smalls unless you want or get yourself killed" I said to him. "Why can't I?" The small boy questioned. We all looked at each other and said " The beast" The what?" Benny went over to him and said "listen to me smalls go over to that fence and look through that hole and tell me what you see" "B-but I-I" smalls started but Benny cut him off "No no no just go over and tell me what you see" So he did exactly that Which caused him to jump back in fear.
