He got a bike for either Christmas or his birthday.
He didn't know how to ride it. I was going to teach him. We were going to ride down the street as fast as we could, race, go to the cafe.
I don't know why we never did it. I don't know why I didn't push for it to be sooner.
I'm not going to get that chance now. And I think that's what hurts most of all. All the promises and activities we planned out that he ruined.
He was my neighbor, my friend, my brother.
And now he's just a memory.
