I don't remember much of my childhood. It's all a blur. But I do remember the day the apocalypse started.
My mother was at work again, she worked late at night. Though we never spent much time together, my mother was always there for me, and the times we did spend together were amazing. She always tried her best and worked hard to make sure she could support the two of us. The day this hell started, my mother had just arrived home for lunch, I was already home due to a certain issue at school. She looked tired, and sick. I really wish I understood what was happening, but I was young, too young to save my own mother, and too young to put her out of her misery...
That would have been roughly 17 years ago. Now at the age of 23, my only struggle is to survive, oh, and deal with stupid people who throw bricks at each other knowing there are zombies near by.
"Oh come on Cam, It was an accident!" Noah exclaimed. "Apology kindly, not accepted!" Cameron responded, matching his tone. "But it wasn't my fault this time!" he argued. "Well you should have thought about that before you decided to throw a brick at Elijah and get everyone killed!" Cameron argued, and the argument went on. Finally, it came to an end. Neither one wanted to apologize first, and so we didn't. Although we argue he's always there for me. He's been there for me since we were kids, before the apocalypse started...
But I'm not one who likes to dwell in the past. Stuff happens, and I can't change that. Yes, there were things I could've done to prevent these small incidents from happening, but I can't go back in time to fix them. What's done is done, I have no choice but to accept it.
My thoughts were interrupted by what you call zombies. I call them annoying motherfuckers that just won't leave you alone. Not actually, but they are annoying. One minute you think you're safe and can actually sit down, the next you try and kill it and all of sudden a random person decides you can't do it yourself so they just do it for you.
wait what-
"Why thank you my dear friend but as you could see, I had it covered." I said. "Well you looked like you were in your own world so I decided to help out a bit." she smirked. Touché
