Bad to Worse

DANIS POV

Taylor and I looked at each other and ran outside. We walked into a war zone. Niall was creaming at Louis and Chalie was screaming at them both.

"WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY MATE!!!" Niall yelled at Louis. "YOU KNEW I LIKE HER!!!"

"Hey guys... SHES MY F***IN GIRLFRIEND! I DONT WANT YOU TWO RETARDS TO MESS AROUND WITH HER!!!" Charlie screamed at them both. Niall gave him a challenging look. At that moment, Charlie went up and punched Niall in the jaw and Louis kicked Charlie.

"GUYS!!! STOP IT!!!! WHAT THE HECK?!?!" I screamed above them all. They all stopped and looked at me. Liam, Harry, andZayn were smart and moved out of the war zone.

I couldnt hold it in. I started crying. Arent people suppose to want people fighting over them? No. Cause it sucks. I walked through the three of them.

"Dani, wait!" Charlie yelled after me. He took my wrist but i twisted out of it.

"Babe, dont be like this!" He said to me.

"Are you seriouse right now?!?! You just freakin punched Niall!!!" I shouted at him. He looke dat the ground.

"I know, imessed up. He said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"NO! Stop it! I thought i woul dhave loved you here, and i did. But now i dont. Just go back to your hotel. Ill drop your stuff of tomorrow. Bye." I said to Charlie. I walked back to the restraunt leavimg him there.

Once i gotback in there. Niall was against the wall crying. Wow. Thats what i call feeling bad.

"Hey." I said quietly. Nialls head imeditly shot up. He ran over to me.

"Dani! Letme explain. Louis told me and i did... get a bit jealous... but iment NO harm. I didnt punch anyone. And if you never want to see me again, i understand. Im glad we met though. Thanks Dani." He said leaving looking like a sad puppy.

"He didnt hurt any one. I promise. And he has liked you for a month. Believe me. Bye Dani." Liam said giving me a hug.

"Thanks Liam." I said to him. I gave Zayn a hug and Louis one to. The four then left. Wait.... there is 5... i looked aroind the cornor to see Taylor and Harry laugjing like old friends. It was cute, but i had to go.

"Hey lovey doves! Tay, i gotta go. My mum- uhhh.... i have homework." I said catchimg myself. That was close.

"Kay, leys go! Bye Harry!" She said to him with a hug.

"Bye Taylor! Call me!" He said.

"So..... explain?" I said nudging her.

TAYLORS POV

He was amazing. Nice, funny, and sweet. Perfect! But i neede to be careful. I told Dani the whole story od me and Harry. And i did go into detail... so it took the whole ride home.

"Yay! Im so happy for you!" She said. I turned the cornor to see her house. I saw a look of fright on her face.

"Hey, u ok?" I asked her.

"Huh? Ih, yeah. Just, lots of maths homework." She said. I nodded but didnt believe her.

I aproched her house when she stopped me.

"Hey, could you just let me out here?" She asked me. She has done this before, but i still dont know why.

"Ya. Ill call you, kay?" I said to her.

"Kay. See ya!" She said.

I drove off and pulled into my driveway. I got out and went tomy room quetly. My parents were asleep, givin it was 10 pm. I changed into pink pjs and got ready for bed. I sat in my bed and called Dani.

'Yo this Dani leave a message!' I heard her voicemail. I hung up ajd went out tomy balcony. I jumped onto the tree as my ladder and got to tje ground. I do this a lot. I went over to her house to hear a shreak from her house. Thats when i ran to there.

DANIS POV

i walked into the house expecting bad. But i did not expect what came

. I saw my mum on the couch with beer bottles around her. I went upstairs but hit a squiky step.

"Dont try to sneak away you bitch." She said to me. I stopped. "Come here slut."she slurred. I did as told and was ready for what happened everyday.

"So i ran out of beet and cigeretes. Oh well. Guess i will just use this." She said smirking. I was lost. Untill she pulled out a knife and slashed my arm. I tried to scream but she got my cheek. I fellto tje ground seeing red liqued around me. It got blurry. She go tme good. She picke dme up by my short and took it off and swipped my bare back. It hurt so bad. She then let it allout in a cut from my ankel to my thigh goimg slowly. Ishreaked. Shekicked me in my gut saying thimgs like biths slut worthless and skank. Thats when it went black.

TAYLORS POV

I walked in to Danid house to find her mum no where in sight but Dani laying on the floor with blood all around her and gashes everwhere. I was shocked. I dashed up the stairs.

"Jade! You have to wake up sweetie." Isaid loudly. She stirred and opendd her eyes.

"Taylor? Whats going on?" She asked.

"Ill tell you when we get to my house. I need you to get Danis phone amd find the contact Liam, ok?" I said. She nodded quickly leaving to Danis room.

I went down stairs and grapped ky best friends limp body and screamed for Jade. She came down the stairs and saw Dani. She looked shocked. But she followe orders.

"Kay, lets go." I said tryimg to stay calm for Jade. We ranto my house. We ran upstair sinto my room. I dialed Liams number and waited. While it rang, i got wet washcloths and cleaned Dani.

"Hello?" I heard a sleepy Liam say.

"Liam?! Can yoy come quick?! Dani is hurt. Bring a first aid kit and come quick!" I said. I told him what happened and my adress and he was on his way.

"Its ok Dani. Your gonna be ok, ok? I am here. So is Jade. Liam is coming. Youbwill be ok." I said to her lifeless body.

"Thanks Taylor. Really. Goodbye" She said before her eyes closed

"No its not goodbye! Its not! Your ok! I promise!" I screamed cryimg hystaricaly.

"Taylor!" I heard Liam from outside. I let him in. He saw Dani and in one swift movement picke dher up amd brought her to uis car. I grabbed Jade, who was crying, and we all got in the car. Liam sped, a lot. But we had to hurry.

"Taylor, stay calm. Its ok. Shes ok. She still has a pulse, but barely. Call the hospital, ok?" He said. I nodded and called the hospital.

20 MINUTES LATER

Me, Jade and Liam walked with Dani who was on the bed. Nurses pushed her toa room. Doctors came and helped imeditly. We were asked to leave.

"No ,atter what, i am not leaving her side. Over my dead body." I growled.

They understood and let us stay. We watched as she lay there. We lustened to the heartbeat thing
