The New Girl

Chapter 4

' I've been waiting and waiting for hours for her to reply. I refuse to go to bed till she does ' I complained to Ben while he rolled his eyes. Like a child I stuck my tounge out making annoying sounds. I was getting really impatient running through things that might of happened;

1* she could of got my number and just doesn't want to text me or have anything to do with me.

2* she didn't get the note and wonders about me.

3* she's moved back to where she come from.

All these things that might of happened but I resist believing 1 , I just couldn't. I was snug up on the lounge like a girl waiting for the text.

Ben then smartly suggested the best idea he stumbled , ' what if you go hung with another girl to keep your mind of things'. Well I began thinking. It's not like we are together so it's not cheating. So decided to text a random number a girl had given me ( lots of people had crushes on me ) . She replied instantly and we were meeting down by the lake.

I walked over done by the lake and she was sitting there. Waiting for me. She had excitement beaming through eyes. She got up start away and began blubbering how long she's waited for me to reply and blah blah blah. She gave me flirting ish looks and comments. Telling me how handsome and good looking I was. Well I really couldn't disagree. She was going on and on about how beautiful the lake is and what not , l wasn't listening because i was wondering about Courtney. And without even noticing I yelled , ' Courtney'. At that very moment the girl threw me of me with out any noticed and started yelling at me about something. Then I had a weird feeling of excitement as a tingling feeling was in my pocket then I searched through my pocket and grappled the source and scrolled to see Courtney's number appear. I was so happy I wanted to get out of here. With my excited I looked over at she was still talking so I cried and begged , ' will you stop already ' . She paused and then began again so in that very moment her mouth opened I pushed her into lake and run away back to my house while reading the message and a large grin appeared on my face.

I kept on re-reading it over and over again in my mind it said' I missed you at school came back NOW. What have you been up to❤'. Oh it was such a relief of her texting me back. I have 1 more day and I'm back at school. I think I'm excited. We texted back and forth till she fell asleep so did I thinking about her.
