It was dark, very dark. There was nothing but an endless void in every direction. It has been that way for thousands of years but when something drags out for too long it gets boring. Maybe it was by pure chance or maybe someone put a curse on the world, whichever it was, there was no longer only nothingness. Somewhere in the endlessness the world as we know it was created with a massive boom. However that wasn't the only thing that was created in the result of the explosion. There was anger, frustration, envy, jealousy, disgust, devaluation, despair. All those negativities became an entity, fueled by evil. An entity that was stronger than any God. That thing called themselves The Ruler of the Void.
They used their power to make the void a little more hospitable, if that could even be possible. They created a huge room with candles up on the walls, a few chains and shackles, a big Renaissance looking mirror and a few steps leading to a podium with a throne, covered in velvet and gold. The throne is where the Ruler would sit, looking at the mirror which reflected the human world. The Ruler would witness countless wars, natural disasters, colonizations, mass murders, frauds, everything. However they noticed something - humans were nothing special. They had no supernatural abilities, no reason for their existence. All they did was think about themselves and destroy everything around them. Watching them for thousands of years got boring. Someone had to step in and teach them how to really cause havoc.
The Ruler reached into their chest and pulled what seemed to be a mess of black goo and shadows. That was the best soul they could make. They created an empty shell or, how They prefered to call it, a vessel, similar to the ones human females have. They put the soul in the shell and gave it a name - Aynat, sower of death and destruction.
