My Identity

Who am I?

Am I the stars in the Heaven?
Am I the sea in the earth?
Am I the skies that gives life to it's inhabitants?
Am I the soil that encourages the plants to grow?

Who am I?

I can be many things,
But many of those things are not me.

I can be the moon, but I could be the sun,
I can be the sea, but I could be the lava,
I could be the stars, but I could be the clouds.

So who am I then?

Why when I'm the sun, others want the moon,
And when I'm the moon, others want the sun?

Why when I'm the flower, the others dig me up, and demand a tree,
And then when I am a tree, they cut me down and ask for the flower?

Most times, I do not know who I am.

Until, I started being me.

I hold a certain character, that seems to please many,
Until I started being the character, that God wanted me to be.

They don't like my Godly Character,
So they try to dig me up,
But little did they know,
I'm not ordinary,
Because God is holding my roots.
