Chaeha stared at the horizon as she let her feet soak up in the salty water. The wind blew at her, making her hair fly in the wind. She wanted to go to sea, sail, have an adventure.
Chaeha was brought out of her thoughts when screaming came from the village. Somethings were on fire, with people running around. She turned her head, there was a pirate ship at the docks, here to loot, take belongings, and peoples deepest treasures.
A pink haired man came up to her, a sword pointed at her. "Give me your things."
Even though Chaeha knew she would have no chance winning against a pirate, she wasn't going down without a fight.
She drew out her dagger. "No."
The male scoffed. "Be careful little girl, you might cut yourself or break a nail playing with that."
Chaeha huffed, that was adding more fuel to her fire. "Oh really? I guess we both might hurt ourselves, you're the one with pink feminine like hair."
His eyebrows twitched and he lunged forward. Chaeha blocking it as she made their sharp weapons collide, bringing her arm up, making his sword go up as well, then quickly moving her dagger, tried to get a cut on his face. Reacting quickly, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer, putting her in a chokehold, also holding the arm which had the dagger in her hand.
"Now for the last time, give me your things," he brought, "or I'll kill you."
"For the last time," she struggled, "NO!" The with all her strength, she moved her head forward then backwards, roughly butting their heads together. The pink haired boy groaned, loosening the grip, and Chaeha broke free and ran off.
Chaeha ran before running into someone, they stopped her from continuing to run, she tried to shake free, but she couldn't. Finally, looking at the person, it was none other than her brother Wooyoung who had left years prior.
"Wooyoung?" Chaeha asked. "Is that really you?"
Wooyoung hugged her. "Yes, it's me."
Chaeha broke off. "You're here? But how? Why-" she finally stopped herself and looked at his outfit. "You're a pirate..."
"Yeah.." he replied softly.
"You're raiding this village?!" she asked angrily. "You grew up here, you lived here! Our family lives here!" Many emotions overcame her.
"I-I know...," Wooyoung said softly.
"Why?" Chaeha asked. "How could you do this?!"
"I don't know... we just- we just needed supplies," Wooyoung replied. "But all I know is that it would take years for this place to come back to normal. Come with me. Come with my crew so you don't have to suffer with the village. I know growing up, we both loved the ocean."
