The Interview

I woke up from my bed as I heard my alarm clock go off. I turned it off as I push myself up from the sheets. I checked the time, it's 6:09am. I have to get going then I don't want Heather to be late for school.

I walked to Heather's bedroom and open her door so I could wake her up for school.

"Wakey Wakey my little angel!" I said

Heather rolled over while hugging her Huggy Wuggy plush I got her for her birthday last year. She were only 6 when I adopted her. She is now 10. I grabbed her Bron toy and knee to her

"Come on Heather, Bron wants you to get up. It's not healthy for you to sleep all day." I said in a funny voice.

Heather finally woke up.

"What's it mommy?" She said as I put her Bron toy back on her bedside.
"It's going to be time to school soon come on, I make you your favourite, Beans on toast" I said to her with a smile

Just like that she rushed downstairs. I walked down to the kitchen and started to make breakfast

"Mommy?" Heather said
"Yes sweetie?" I replied

Heather looked down

"If you get the job will you still pick me up from school?" She asked in sad tone in her voice
"Of course my shift ends at 6:00pm if I get the job" I replied with putting the food on the table.

After having breakfast and me and Heather got ourselves dressed and ready for today. We got into the car and drove her to her school.

"Bye mommy!" She said going out from my car.
"Have a nice day at school sweetheart!" I said

I drove to the company. Playtime co? This is the place. I got out of my car and walked in side to be greeted by a man with a big smile on his face.

"Hello Miss. Turner! I heard so much about you from your brother" He said
"Am I late?" I asked
"Of course not you just in time actually!" He replied
"Who are you?" I asked
"I'm Mr Pierre! Leith Pierre" He answered
"It's nice to meet you. Now where is the interview?" I asked
"Same with you, now please follow me" he said

I followed him to a room with a woman were sitting. She had tan skin and short ginder hair with light sky blue dress and eyes.

"This is Lisa Cook, she will be interviewing you. I will come back to tell you if you got the job or not Miss. Turner" Leith said before leaving the room.

I sat down on the chair, Lisa looked at me.

"So Michelle Turner? Why did you want to work at playtime co?" She asked me
"Well ever since I was a kid I loved playing with toys. To dolls to teddy bears, I saw them as my friends. You see my brother as a kid he never let me play with him or his friends so I turned to toys and they became my friends. I want to give kids a similar experience like I did." I said
"What job do you want to have at Playtime Co?" Lisa asked
"A mechanic" I replied
"Will you do anything for Playtime Co?" Lisa said
"Yes of course" I replied
"Thank you for your time" she said getting up

Lisa walked out of the room. I sat there for 2 hours.

Leith walked in

"Miss. Turner" he said
"Yes?" I replied
"YOU GOT THE JOB! Welcome to the staff!" He said
