Excessive knocking was easily heard through your bedroom door- or rather, someone was positively pounding on your bedroom door. You grumbled and shifted onto your side, covering your head with a pillow. You did suppose Liza had said you'd be accompanying her to the new Bitty place. When she had her mind set to something, she was getting it.

You didn't flinch as your unlocked door burst open with a shout along the lines of "wake the H-E double HOCKEY STICKS up." And of course, a few unsavory swears were followed by that as she tripped over a random pair of shoes; gaining her a few words of disapproval from Ducky, who sat on her shoulder.

"You've got until the count of three to get up. I know you're awake."

You said nothing and snuggled further into your nest of blankets.

"Never mind, forget counting."

The pile of blankets secured tightly around your body was suddenly ripped away, leaving you grumbling unhappily. She lifted the pillow from off your head and smacked you with it a few times before dragging you by your ankles off of your bed. You fell to the floor dramatically on your back, huffing, before curling up there.

"Dude, seriously, get up. It's already 10:00."

No response.

"Don't make me get the pots and pans."

You sat up straight at that, blinking dumbly and rubbing the sleep out of your eyes with a yawn.

"Fine, fine. I'm up. Satisfied?"

You sincerely hoped she was- you didn't think you could handle the horrendous cacophony of pots and pans clanging together right by your ear so soon after waking up. Or ever again. You really didn't want a repeat of last time she did something like that.

She glared at you for a moment more before turning away and walking out into the hallway.

"Get dressed, we're leaving in fifteen minutes."

And get dressed you did. Something simple, but adequate to the point you could go out without getting weird looks. You always did tend to dress in more comfortable clothing. Once done, you haphazardly threw your dirty clothing into the hamper across the room, making the shot after uttering a small "John Wilkes Booth." You unlocked the door to your room and padded out slowly towards your front door, shoes in hand. Liza was waiting impatiently with Ducky at the door, both of them tapping their feet in a mildly peeved manner- although, it seemed Ducky was doing it simply to copy her mannerisms.

"Took you long enough. C'mon, let's go."

You huffed and grabbed your messenger bag, identical to Liza's that she wore now- other than the fact that yours was not decorated with weird little doodles that Liza had littered hers with.

Getting into her small VW bug, she passed you a box of donuts. The woman was Satan's spawn and a godsend all at once. She started the car and set up her GPS to ensure you'd be heading the right way, and you opened the box. It had been silent up until she stopped at a red light, and you looked to her- confusion evident on your face.
