Jessica Pov:
It's been a year since Lorenzo and I have been together. I've never been more in love.
I'm currently trapped in between Lorenzo's legs as he holds me in his sleep.
I turn around to face him and admire his features. I trace random patterns on his arms and torso until he stirs awake. I look up and his striking blue eyes meet mine.
"Good morning honey." I smile.
He kisses my forehead "Morning, my love."
"Any plans today?" I ask.
"Only one."
"What is it?"
"It's a surprise."
"I hate surprises."
He smacks my thigh. "Don't whine, kitten."
"Sorry, Daddy," I mutter.
"Don't worry baby, you'll love this surprise."
I feel better.
He untangles his legs from mine and gets up to stretch.
"Do we have to leave now?" I ask. I'm really hungry.
He chuckles. "Don't worry we'll eat first."
Yum. Food!
At this thought, I perk up and get ready for the day.

We drive about thirty minutes before we reach this cute little diner. I don't know why we had to drive this far, but I can't complain. The food was amazing. After eating, we got back in the car and drove for an additional 30 minutes.
He finally pulls over into a very secluded area. After making past a few branches and trees we came face to face with a beautiful clearing.
"Wow." I was in awe. "Lorenzo, where did you find this place?"
I wait for his answer that never comes, so I turn around. The sight before me was one to behold.
It's Lorenzo, on one knee holding up a diamond ring. I get teary-eyed just looking at him.
He starts speaking, but I don't hear him."Jessica, I knew I wanted to marry you since the day I met you. You're the most important-"
"Yes!" I say not bothering to let him finish.
"W-what?" He says in surprise and happiness.
"Yes, I'll marry you." I cry. Happy tears of course.
He places the ring on my finger and twirls me around.
"You've made me the happiest man alive, kitten." he smiles brightly.
"And you've made me the happiest woman."
"I love you, Jessica."
"I love you, Lorenzo. More than you'll ever know."
We share a searing kiss and pull away, imagining our new future together.
