3 MONTHS LATER

After everything that happened with sukuna and Nobara, y/n was relieved, winning against a curse in a fight to the death and getting her hands back was like what mortals called "waking up on christmas morning", though she felt homesick. She missed her lava pond and the view of volcanos and magma spewing from the sky, the dark clouds swirling around in a storm like black coffee.

That was when she got a text message from Megumi. In the span of those 3 months the two had finally met, Toji was overjoyed when the two of you got along, he thought megumi wouldn't take any interest in you, but to his surprise he did.

MEGUWUMI:
you doing anything for the holidays?

Y/n thought for a moment, she had gotten homesick over the last few days, but she'd always wondered what snow felt like, was it like a soft cold fluffy pillow? Or maybe perhaps making snowmen were better than putting a corpse upon a stake, that was your tradition back home anyway.

Y/N SAN
hmm I don't know yet tbh , why you askin?

MEGUWUMI:
my dad was wondering if you wanted to come over and spend it with us?

Y/n pondered at the response, thinking about what she could do, she had no family, no mother no father, born from a sinner who'd not been purified, y/n didn't really do anything on christmas.

Y/N SAN:
ill think about it

Y/n turned off her phone, walking along the road nearby a restaurant, all the places in Japan had put up cute Christmas decorations, fairy lights and jolly santa's were put outside to advertise anything and everything. She looked into the window, seeing all the couples, young and old laughing and smiling. Y/n felt so hungover from telling sukuna about Madam Satans task, now that she was actually dating her, would she be able to deliver her soul to her? Christmas is the time of giving after all.

the answer? was yes. y/n pulled a straight face and remembered why she was here in the first place. to deliver nobara's soul to her master, that was all. 'These pesky feelings have gotten in the way, I have to find a way to get rid of them.' Y/n thought to herself. Pulling on the red scarf Gojou had given her, she looked up at the starry night sky. 'merry christmas mortals..'

THE NEXT DAY...

Nobara knocked on Y/n's door, vigorously and loudly, after all the research she had done. Nobara had been worried sick ever since the call, they hadn't been in contact those three months and she had stopped caring about school work and friends, she wanted to make sure y/n was okay. "Y/N!! " "Y/N OPEN THE DOOR ITS ME NOBARA!" no answer. "Y/N ARE YOU OKAY?! PLEASE ANSWER ME- AT LEAST!" still no answer. "maybe she's not home!!" She said hopefully, pulling out her phone almost dropping it but eventually catching it and dialed y/n's number.

*RING RING*

y/n's phone was being blown up by Nobara, constant texts and calls and voice messages saying: 'call me back please!!'
or 'y/n I'm worried about you can we talk??' Y/n left her on delivered to all the messages, no replies no nothing. Y/n had her entire house locked, all the windows shut, even the sunroof was closed. Nobara gave up eventually and went home. Meanwhile, Y/n was writing a letter to Madam Satan, whom she hadn't written too since 2 months ago approximately.

Dearest Madam Satan, I have resumed the task you have bestowed upon me, I'm sorry it has been taking so long, silly mortal feelings had gotten in the way, but do not fret ma'am, for I shall have her soul delivered to you personally by the end of this mortal winter.

Y/n snapped her fingers and the letter was gone out of thin air, now that she had put in a word to her master, she needed to get her plan back in motion. The plan she had since the beginning, all she had to do was manipulate and control Nobara. The whole time, y/n had been emotionally and mentally manipulating her, leaving in silly mortal feelings like love or purity. 'Ha! she's foolish to believe in that shit, then again she is only a mortal, what much is there that she can do?' Y/n jokingly thought to herself before changing into her pink silk nightgown, and getting into bed. Falling into an eternal slumber, until the bright morning light shine through once again.

AS THE MORNING SUN ROSE, A NEW MESSAGE HAD COME.

y/n had woken up feeling strange, she had sent the letter late last night to her master, avoiding Nobara at all costs and making her miserable. Y/n smelt something different in the air today, she got out of bed, putting on her white slippers, she unlocked and opened the blinds, to find that snow had finally fallen. Japan was starting to become head to toe covered in the white wonder, little snowflakes peppered Y/n's nose as she stepped outside, taking off her slippers and setting them aside. The snow felt cold, numbing even, but she wasn't affected or shivering at all, the snow between her painted toes felt soft and slippery, y/n smiled.

A letter had popped onto Y/n's desk, she immediately closed up everything once again, putting her slippers back on, her feet still numb from the snow. Madam Satan saw y/n's message and took it upon herself to read it.

Dearest Y/n, it is wonderful to hear from you again, yes mortals and their stupid beliefs in love and purity, quite dumb don't you think? But thank you for giving me an update on Nobara, speaking of soul taking I heard that the dreaded curse Sukuna was beaten by you in a fight to the death! How victorious that you survived! You shall be rewarded even more when you come home!

Y/n hugged the response letter to her chest, she felt excited that her master had finally recognized her power and abilities. 'By the end of this mortals winter..' y/n said to herself. "By the end of this mortals winter, Nobara's soul will be mine." The succubi said to herself once more, making a pact and promising her loyalty to her Majesty.

"merry christmas dearest mortals,
It's going to be a long ride ehehe~"
