DEAN'S POV

~~~~~~~~~~
Now that things with Em and I are back on track, we've been working more smoothly on these cases. I guess it's easier to work together. After we got rid of the werewolves, we worked on a few other cases and then headed back to Bobby's. I think Em really likes it there, like it's a second home you know? I owe her a huge thank you; she has been working non-stop on getting me out of this deal. I'm worried about her, though. Sam told me about her panic attack and I've noticed that she hasn't been sleeping, and it's not just because of her determination on figuring out how to save me.
It's late right now. She's on the computer, barely awake. "Hey," I say, "You should get some rest."
"No, it's alright. I'm fine." She says, holding back the yawn.
"Em, you can barely keep your eyes open."
"I'm fine!" She snaps. "I'm sorry," she quickly apologizes.
"Em... what's wrong." I ask and receive no response. I continue, "I know you haven't been sleeping lately. What's wrong? You know you can tell me anything."
"There's nothing wrong... It's nothing."
"Em, I've known you long enough to be able to tell when you're lying." Worry is plastered all over my face.
"If you want me to go to bed so badly, then fine." She storms up the stairs and slams her door, causing Sam to wake up.
"What was that about?" He asks.
"Don't worry about it. Just go back to bed." I say and he obeys, closing the door behind him.
A few hours later, I hear a scream coming from upstairs. I sprint up the steps and burst into Em's room. She's covered in sweat. "Em... Em!" I wipe my hand across her face. I crawl into the bed with her and lean her body up against me. "Emily! Wake up!" She sits up on the bed, panting. "Em, hey... it's okay. It was just a dream.
"Dean," she says burying her face into my chest. "It wasn't a dream."
"What do you mean?"
"Dean... I watched to being torn apart by a hellhound. I watched you die! Dean, you're the one that made me sleep. This is why I haven't been sleeping, because every single time, I watch you die."
"Shh, calm down." A tear slides down her cheek and I wipe it off with my thumb. "Everything is going to be okay. It's going to be just fine, because you're not going to let that happen."
"Dean, we haven't found anything on how to save you and you only have one month left."
"I know... I know. But we need to have hope."
"Shouldn't I be the one telling you that?" She asks, I chuckle.
"Yea, you should. So I'm going to need you to stay strong, because you're the rock in this foundation. I'm not going to be able to stand without you. Just stay strong for me, okay?"
"I will, I promise."
"I love you," I say, kissing her forehead.
"I love you more," she counters.
"I love you most," I finish. I stand up, about to leave the room when she grabs the sleeve of my flannel.
"Stay with me?"
"Of course." And with that, we fell asleep. There were no more night mares that night... no more dead me... at least for a month I hope.
Guys, I am so sorry I haven't updated in so long. I have been super busy with softball and finals. I know this is a really short chapter, but it's kind of a filler. There's only two chapters left of this book. I'm so excited for the ending, but then again I'm sad. I haven't decided whether or not to make a sequel, so I need you guys to tell me in the comments of this chapter as soon as you can. Thank you guys soooooo much. ILY.
