On September 5th, 1945, an international group of elite soldiers was brought together. These men and women were not your ordinary soldiers. They were capable of things unimaginable, extraordinary, borderline supernatural. For years these soldiers got their hands dirty so that any and everyone could live safe, happy lives.
Very few are selected to be part of this team. Those who are chosen must go through many obstacles, and challenges. About two out of every ten are accepted into the Hellhounds task force. Today, only five work; Hök, Pyro, Grid, Yurei, and Hex.
New Mexico
A small entrance made of cement peaks from the sandy desert. Many guards stand behind sandbags looking for any threat. One guard sees a glint in the distance above some dunes. He takes out a pair of binoculars and looks in the direction of the glint. He leans his head forward to see better. One of the lenses breaks and blood flies from the front and back of his head.
The gun shot that killed that man finally rings out alerting all the other guards. The alarm is raised, signaling all men and women to get ready for the attack. All the guards scramble to cover, but quite a few get shot before they are able to do so. Then from the same sand dune, comes five trucks. The guards start to fire at the incoming onslaught. As all hell breaks loose the entrance to the bunker below is sealed tight.
The trucks come to a stop right infront of the guards and out comes many men with weapons. They all use the trucks as cover as the trucks slowly advance. The guards continue to fight, holding their ground. The trucks make contact with the sandbags which causes the men to leap in waves over the sandbags. They shoot to kill with accuracy and precision.
The guards are soon overwhelmed and killed. Those who are injured are left to be executed. They beg to be spared but the enemy kills without second thought. A group of the enemy walks to the thick steel door with cutting torches. They begin to cut through the steel as the rest wait to advance.
Down below inside the bunker, more guards prepare defenses to hold off the terrorists. In communications room a call is sent to office about the current situation. No time is wasted. The President of the United States sends the call.
Back at New Mexico, the terrorists continue to cut through the steel door. Eventually the door is cut. The remove the metal prepare to move in. They put on gas mask, then ready tear gas. They all pull their pins off the tear gas grenades and toss them down the long stairs to the bunker below.
The grenades burst into large clouds of thick white smoke. The entrance as well as half the bunker is filled with the dense gas. All the guards begin to cough and rub their eyes. They wave their hands infront of their faces hoping to rid the toxic fumes.
The terrorists make their move and run down the concrete steps into the bunker. The guards begin to shoot at silhouettes through the clouds. Some make it to their target while many others miss. The terrorists move in further and further into the bunker killing every guard on sight. Soon the room falls silent.
Blood can be seen everywhere. Bullet casings litter the floor as well as many dead bodies. The terrorists stand infront of a large vault as if it were the holy grail. They same group of men with cutting torches approach the vault and begin the cutting process. Back on the surface the sun begins to fall. The sun just barley peaks over the horizon. The sun's rays shine on the bunker and the terrorists that occupy the entrance and the inside.
A plane flies above the terrorists without any interaction. They then hear a small bussing noise around them. They look around to find the source of the sound, but see nothing. They go on full alert waiting for an attack. Inside the bunker the vault in opened. Inside, many nuclear weapons can be seen. None however prepped. One of the terrorists walks to a control panel and inspects it.
He uses hand signals to say that the ground above opens up from the panel. They give a thumbs up, giving him the all clear. The starts to press buttons, which causes noise to be heard up above. A crack opens up and sand starts to spill in. The crack opens up more revealing the sky above. There terrorists continue to look up until a loud bang is heard.
They ready their guns at the entrance of the vault waiting for someone to come in. From around the corner two of their allies walk in. One of them holding their arm an the other their gut. The one holding their gut falls to the floor. His team runs to his aid but it's too late. His eyes shut and blood continues to spill from his stomach.
They all keep their guns raised waiting for the right moment to fire. At the entrance a single smoke grenade drops on the floor. It fills the entrance only with green smoke. Then a helmet of a fallen guard slides in. The terrorists approach the helmet only to get a flash of white light and a loud bang.
The terrorist at the control panel hides under it with a pistol in hand. He only needs one more button and he can send a missile away. Gun fire continues, then it stops. He peaks his head and looks around. His team now lay in a pool of their own blood, but no one else is seen.
Is goes to slam his hand on the final but is stopped by a hand catching it. He turns to the person and sees a two black lenses staring right at him. The man flips his NODS up and looks the terrorist in the eyes.
Grid: "Not today."
*BANG*
