The doorbell rang again. Junior and I looked at each other and suddenly we both knew what to do. We walked to the bathroom. I turned on the water. We washed all the blood off and then we went downstairs and answered the door. The man standing at the door stared as Junior and I welcomed him into the house.
"Is Jake home by any chance?" The man looked around inside.
"I think he is." I smiled.
"What about your parents?" He looked at Junior and I.
"Oh? We aren't related." I looked at Junior.
"Oh I apologize. Who's house is this?" Andy stopped walking.
"Oh it's mine. I'm Junior, Jake's cousin." Junior walked over a closed the door.
"And you are?" He looked at me.
"I'm Lia! I'm Jake's friend." I smiled.
"Well nice to meet you. Junior is your mom or dad home?" He looked back at Junior.
"Well my mom died. My dad should be home though" Junior grabbed my hand.
"How did she die?" He looked up the stairs.
"Jumped out of a building." Junior let go of my hand.
"I am so sorry. Are you two dating?" He looked at our hands.
"Indeed we are but why's that any of your business?" I looked at him again.
"I'm sorry just questions." He looked away.
"Anyway how do you know Jake?" Junior walked towards the stairs.
"We met through an online ad for a good guy doll. I'm only here to check the condition." He slowly followed behind Junior and I.
"Junior did you know Jake was selling Chucky?" I looked at Junior who was now looking back at me.
"No I had no idea." He smiled.
"So he should be in here." I opened the door.
"He was just here a minute ago? Maybe he left." Junior walked further into the room.
"Who? Jake or your dad. " Andy walked towards the closet.
"Both actually." Junior walked out of the room. A noise in the closet caught Andy's attention.
"Mind if I take a look in your closet?" Andy looked at Junior.
"I don't mind at all." He smiled and turned away. Andy slowly opened the closet door.
"I apologize I though I heard something in there. It must have been the wind." He shut the closet and left the room.
"Yeah the wind is noisy this time of night." I walked right behind Andy.
"May I see your bathroom?" He looked down the hallway.
"Yeah I guess." Junior pointed towards the bathroom. Andy walked in.
"What's with the water?" Andy turned to look at us.
"Junior was getting ready to bathe when you knocked!" I quickly came up with the excuse. Andy then stuck his hand in the water.
"It's freezing." He removed his hand from the bath.
"I like taking cold baths." Junior looked around the room. Andy followed his gaze.
"I'll show myself out. If you hear from Jake have him call me. Whatever you do, don't mess with that doll." Andy walked out of the bathroom and when we heard the front door close we knew we were clear.
"Junior we did it. Where are you Chucky." I hugged Junior and began to search for Chucky.
"Thank goodness he's gone." Chucky crawled out of the toilet.
"What did you do with my dad?" Junior looked at the doll.
"Laundry shoot? He won't be found for a while." Chucky shook his foot and looked at me.
"Good work with that excuse about a bath Lia. You are a natural liar." We all chuckled.
"Yeah Lia it was an amazing lie." Junior came up to me.
"Why thank you." I grabbed Junior's hand.
"Lia I love you." Those words. The first time Junior had said those words. My heart began pounding.
"I love you too Junior." I smiled. He kissed me.
"Bleh." Chucky made a gagging sound.
"Oh as if you haven't been in love." Junior laughed.
"I have but we have bigger things to do." Chucky left the bathroom. Junior and I followed him.It was dark outside. The fog had fully disappeared. The air smelled of smoke. The streets were quiet. Chucky, Junior, and I all walked to a house. A house I knew from my research. Charles Lee Ray's old house. We walked in to see two people fighting. One had a knife.
"You can't kill me. You need me?" The woman with not weapon said.
"She is right you know?" Chucky said as the people turned towards us.
"Well hello there." They separated and the woman without the weapon stood up.
"Hello Tiffany!" Chucky ran into her arms.
"What is he doing?" Junior whispered into my ear. I just laughed.
"Where are they?" Chucky stopped waving his arms and asked sternly.
"In the basement! Ready?" The blonde woman asked.
"Come on kids follow us." The other woman pointed towards a door on the left. We followed them down to the basement.
"It worked!" The blonde woman sounded excited.
"All because of these two. They went all out! They have guts. The girl here killed and officer. The boy killed his own father." The woman put Chucky down near a chair. I turned my head. Devon?
"Now they are going to do their friend here." Chucky looked at Devon.
"You want us to...kill Devon?" Junior looked at me and then back at Devon.
"Wait he could be useful." The brunette woman said stopping Chucky from handing us the knife. Junior and I sighed in relief.
"You know you may be right. We will let him live...for now." Chucky ran over to the doll army.
"Hello me." Chucky walked about the dolls.
"What are your names by the way?" I sat next to the women from earlier.
"I'm Tiffany! This is Chucky or Nica." The blonde woman, Tiffany said.
"So kids what are your names?" Nica said.
"I'm Lia. This is Junior." I looked at him.
"Nice names." Tiffany smiled.
"Define baby?" A random doll from the group said.
"No one under the age of 5-6 we aren't monsters." Another doll raised his hand immediately after Chucky's response.
"Yes?" Chucky was thrilled.
"What about twins?" The doll looked around the room.
