Chapter 1:Finding Out

Xion was at the old mansion in twilight town talking to Namine. Roxas followed her and was listening to the conversation without being detected. "When you return your memories to him then you will disappear. In exchange for not having your own memory, your connected through other's memories so when you disappear no one will remember you there won't be any "you" to remember. For all the powers I possess I can't even keep one piece of the memory called "you" connected." Namine said, "I know I'm ready otherwise I wouldn't be here" Xion replied, Roxas then heard this & stormed in "NO!" Roxas yelled "*Gasp* Roxas?!" Xion said "Xion please don't" Roxas said. "You heard our conversation?" Xion asked "Yes every word" Roxas replied "Roxas..." Xion said "Xion please don't go I'll miss you, Axel will miss you" Roxas said "Roxas you heard Namine didn't you?" Xion replied "Yeah" Roxas said "No one will remember me once I'm gone so it doesn't matter" Xion replied. "Don't you remember what we said we'll keep our memories memorized forever" Roxas said "I know... You & Axel won't but I will" Xion said "Xion don't leave I don't want to forget about you" Roxas pleaded "Roxas this is hard on me too" Xion replied "But what about our promise?" Roxas said "It'll never come to pass..." Xion said sadly "Xion..." Roxas said "Roxas I'm a danger to you" Xion said "How?" Roxas asked "When I'm around you I take your strength & if I continue to do so you'll end up disappearing & I don't want that" Xion said "But what about you? I don't want you to disappear either" Roxas said "But you won't remember me" Xion said "There has to be another way!" Roxas yelled "There is no other way... This is the only way" Xion said "I refuse to believe that! There's always another way!" Roxas yelled again "Roxas I have to return Sora's memories" Xion said "Why does he need them?" Roxas asked "So he can wake up" Xion said "Why does he need to wake up?!" Roxas asked "So he can stop the organization's plans" Xion answered "Why can't we just do it?" Roxas asked "Because only Sora can" Xion said "But why?!" Roxas said "Because is the only one strong enough to do it!" Xion yelled. Roxas was shocked that Xion yelled at him, "Roxas please let me go" Xion said "I can't" Roxas said "Why?" Xion asked "Because you're my best friend" Roxas said. Xion was speechless, Roxas then hugged Xion & started crying "I don't wanna lose you!" Roxas said tearfully. Xion was shocked but then hugged Roxas back "I don't wanna lose you either but it has to be done in sorry..." Xion said sadfully "You two can spend the night here" Namine said "Huh?" Roxas said "There are two spare rooms here, you two can spend the night here & we'll settle this in the morning" Namine said "Okay thank you Namine" Xion said "You're welcome Xion" Namine replied, Roxas & Xion then walked to one of the rooms & Roxas held Xion's hand. "Roxas pl-" Xion started but got cut off by Roxas "We'll talk about it in the morning" Roxas said "*Sigh* okay..." Xion then went on the bed & Roxas grabbed a nearby chair & sat next to her. "Roxas aren't you going to go to the other room?" Xion asked "No" Roxas answered "Why?" Xion asked again "Because I wanna spend as much time with you as possible" Roxas replied "O-okay" Xion said, Xion then drifted off to sleep with Roxas still holding her hand "I'll find a way Xion I promise".
