Outskirts, outside Nabuka City
Highway Bridge
The sky is bright red, the Demonverse is at its most corrupted state.
On the ground is the leading Bravo team of the Rhinestone Squad, driving a few AC-HMVs and two Armored Personnel Carriers.
*engine accelerating*
Daniel: Heads up, hostiles ahead!
The Corporate and Replica forces open fire on them.
Johann: This is it, spin them up!
*electrical whirring*
*gunfire*
They drive through the barricade, the enemy forces chase them in their armored vehicles as they race against time.
Johann: D, behind us!
Daniel operates the turret, firing the minigun.
He exploded three enemy vehicles, the others destroyed four.
Paranormal energy from the Demonverse is building up..
Suddenly, a scream from a female voice echoes through out reality, disorienting every living being.
*echoing scream*
*energy dissipate*
It caused communications and some of the military aircrafts that were airborne to temporarily jam and lose control. Some exploded in mid-air, crashing to the sea.
Ryo (Radio): Gah! My head! What is that?!
Daniel: It's coming from the Demonverse! Mimori, what is going on?!
Mimori (Radio): It's intensifying its influence on the real world! The excessive paranormal energy expelled from the center can cause a disabling shockwave. Any aircrafts trying to fly near it will get disabled, it's almost like an electromagnetic pulse but more worse.. No, it can't be.. That's impossible!
An enemy helicopter flies into their location. It tries to lock on, but is caught in the screaming shockwave, crashing down.
*echoing scream*
*energy dissipate*
*spark out*
*turbulence*
*crash*
Their vehicles continue to run unaffected while speeding up.
Two enemy helicopters appear, they fire missiles at them.
Daniel fires the minigun and a few missiles at the helicopter.
The other enemy helicopter fires its gun pod. Johann, driving the AC-HMV, avoids it.
Another scream is emitted from the Demonverse, expelling out more shockwave. The Corporate forces are thrown into disarray since the screaming shockwave also affected them.
*echoing scream*
*energy dissipate*
Corporate Soldier 1(Radio): *scream* My head!.. Everyone, get out of here! Run!
Corporate Soldier 2 (Radio): Command, this is Foxtrot Four One, send us an evac! We're getting torn apart out here!
TETRACORP Command (Radio): Negative. Do not fall back. Repeat, do not fall back. Maintain orders, we are closer to achieving our objective.
Corporate Soldier 2 (Radio): Are you insane?! We're being annihilated!
Daniel (Radio): Keep going, man! Drive!
Johann (Radio): I am!
*echoing scream*
*energy dissipate*
Corporate Soldier 3 (Radio): *screaming pain* Help me!..*death gurgle*
Corporate Soldier 2 (Radio): *panicked* No!...
*radio static*
Johann: We're almost there! Go, go!
Their vehicle succeeded in penetrating through the defense checkpoint, the enemy is left annihilated and in disarray. They are now almost to the location.
