It Started From The Beginning

Just Starting

No one's POV ( Current Time Period)
Goh and Ash just got up and are now on an adventure with Chloe to the Galar region to do some more research. Right now they are near a big grass field and just relaxing.

Professor Cerise  was a little hesitant to let his daughter go with the reachers. But he knows that Ash is old enough to take care of himself and the two younger people as well. However he could see that Goh and Chloe have gotten a little more close when Ash moved in because of his knowledge, bonds, and love for Pokémon. He noticed that his daughter wasn't really into Pokémon when she got a little older. He suspected that this was due to her being the daughter of a Pokémon professor. He knew that he has to let her decide her own path just like he did. He was proud of her when she was able to catch an Eevee not though battling but by bonding with it. He can see a change in her ideas thinking that Pokémon aren't so bad she just need learn about them from not just facts but experience. He also took in account Goh and how he was able to catch many different Pokémon. He liked Goh even though he can  sometimes be a know it all. However that has even began to break showing the real Goh who is funny, happy and always try to have a positive attitude. Cerise was very grateful for Ash coming into both their lives and his own. It gave them a sort of role model as well as helping Creise see that a strong bond with a Pokémon and trainer can make any Pokémon stronger. He has heard of the tales Ash has told them about his past adventures and was a little shocked when he has went to so many different regions.
Cerise can still be a little protective of his daughter with Goh but he trusts Goh and knows that Goh will be a gentleman if he ever dates his daughter.

Cerise gets a call from the group and they tell him that found a good area to call it a night. He saids good night to them and to be safe when they travel home.

Ash's POV
I just finished setting up my tent and was going to help Chloe with hers because she still is getting the hang of it. I see Goh done with his so I develop a plan. I might be dense with my own love life, kinda, but I can see a spark between the two and it's kinda cute. I ask Goh to help Chloe with her tent while I go do a little training and will be back later. He says ok and goes to help Chloe. I walk into the forest do start some training with Lucario.

Goh's POV
I just finished my own tent and see Ash done with his. He probably was going to help Chloe with her tent. But then he asked me to help her because he was going to do some training.

No One's POV
Goh went to over to Chloe who was having a little trouble.
"Need a hand?" he offered.
Chloe look up and smiled. " Yeah I just need to do the final touch."
Goh helped her out and they finished in 2 minutes.
"Thanks" Chloe said.

2 Hours Later

Ash has come back from training and now sees Goh and Chloe having dinner. He joins them and they all eat dinner while taking about a variety of different topics. Soon it was time for bed and everyone went to sleep.

Some Time In The Middle Of The Night
Goh wakes up due to a weird dream and can't fall back al sleep. He goes out side and sees Ash just looking at the sky. Or more specifically the stars.

"Why are you looking at the stars Ash?" Goh question.

"It helps me remember all of the past memories I have had on my journey. One day you will probably do the same thing." Ash responses.

"Ok I guess that makes sense as you did start 2 years before me and actually got to travel the world." Goh countered.

"You know it doesn't matter if I travel everywhere or anywhere because it was more about the people I traveled with. Kinda like you and Chloe before I move in. I know you didn't have many friends while growing up and I know how that feels. However I always had my mom to help me though my early life. Chloe is kinda that person to you besides the mother part." Ash laughed

Ash could have seen a little bit of blush on Goh's face when Ash mentioned that Goh was close with Chloe.
Eventually Ash left to get a little more sleep but Goh stayed out a little longer.

Soon Chloe woke and saw someone up so she decided to see who it was and was surprised when it was Goh because he normally was a deep sleeper.

" Had a weird dream again?" She asked.

"Yeah it was a dream about there being no Pokémon in this world. I know that you don't have that big of interest in Pokémon but you still have Evee so you should understand how it was weird." Goh responded. " Also you know me too well," Goh chuckled.

Chloe laughed at this and responded with " Well we had many sleepovers when we were younger and one of us sometimes got weird dreams every now and then."

Right now they were sitting on the grass and looking outward with the stars still out. Chloe and Goh were both getting tired and fell asleep right then and there with Chloe's head resting on Goh's shoulder.
Ash saw this as he just woke up from Pikachu accidentally giving him a small shock in his sleep but not too loudly. He went to get a blanket and put it over both of them. He smiled at the young couple who he believes were meant for each other and took a picture.

He sent it to Chloe's and Goh's moms because being the oldest he had both of their parents contacts in case of emergencies. He said that they kinda look cute in the position. Goh's mother thought it was cute and showed it to her husband and he smiled knowing that Goh was in good hands. She replied to Ash by agreeing with him and thanking him for taking care of their boy and maybe their boy's girlfriend they said with a wink. Ash chuckled at this.

When Chloe's mother got the picture she couldn't help but remember when they did it when they were younger. She showed it to her husband and he was kinda use to this due to happening every once and a while with his daughter's sleepovers with Goh. But he still couldn't wipe the smile off his face knowing that Chloe was in good hands. They replied with thanking him for taking care of them and telling him that it isn't the first time this has happened. Ash laughed at this.

Then he started his morning jog with his Pokémon who were ready to go. He left a note telling Goh and Chloe what he was doing.

Goh woke up and felt something on his shoulder. He looked to his right and saw Chloe asleep on it. Goh immediately went red and knew this wasn't the first time that this has happened. He could see Chloe so relaxed and he thought it was kinda cute. But he knew that he needed to start up breakfast for them so he picked up Chloe bridal style and put back in her sleeping bag. He then left the tent and saw the note.

Deer Goh/Chloe,
I am just doing my normal routine and will be back when I probably smell breakfast. LOL. But in all seriousness, I will be back soon.

Goh turn it over and it had a little writing on the back as well.

P.S.
I just want to say that you too fell asleep and I just but a blanket on you too because I knew that if I moved one of you both of you would wake. I can see the you are close to the other one so my advice would be either make a move or wait until the right time.

Goh looked a little shocked at what Ash had said but he knew that it was true. He decided to the keep the letter and hold onto it for now to remind him. He then starts to make breakfast. When Chloe comes out he needs to help her with her hair which is a little embarrassing for both of them but at least it was just the two of them. When they start eating Ash come back and gets ready for the day.

When there done they get ready to head to the airport to catch their flight back home to Kanto as they have finished reaching what they needed to.
However Goh, Chloe and Ash all knew that this journey was just getting started.
