The Future's Just A Few Heartbeats Away [Tony Perry]

Chapter 1.

~Harmony's P.O.V~

I was rushing out of my house, my makeup half-assed, and my long brown hair suspended in a high pony tail. Where was I in such a rush to get too? Ha, not even I knew that. My long time best friend, Autumn, practically banged down my door and dragged me out of my bed this morning. All she told me was that she has a surprise for me and that if I don't get ready soon that I won't get it. Her being my best friend and all, I would think she knew I didn't like surprises, not one bit. But I guess not. And now here we are after the longest two hour drive of my life- in front of an old warehouse. I looked at her in confusion.

"come on, come on, they're starting soon and you're going to be highly upset if you miss this."

I guess she was trying to give me some hints, but I couldn't see passed her mischievous smile. I furrowed my eyebrows and got out of the car. I looked around, and then stopped dead in my tracks. I ran over to the wall that held a poster, and I shook my head in disbelief. I ran my hand over the poster, seeing if it would just disappear at my touch. "This isn't real life." I simply said before turning back around to autumn.

"PLEASE, please, pretty please tell me you-"before I could even finish my question she pulled out two tickets and two separate laminates to see and meet the most amazing band ever- Pierce the Veil. I ran full force over to her and jumped on her. I couldn't believe this, I had so many questions, how, when, why. But all I knew now was that I was going to meet my heroes again, the ones that have helped me through so much a couple of years ago in high school, and that's all that mattered.

"Alright, alright, can I breathe now? Jeez Harmony," She said sarcastically and a smirk appeared on her face "come on were already late as it is!"

I shook my head in agreement and walked into the cool air conditioned venue where the meet & greet was being held. I was shaking, to excited, to nervous, I felt like a 16 year old version of myself all over again. 16 specifically being when I first went to my first pierce the veil concert and first met the guys.

*Flash Back*

When I first went to their concert at 16, they didn't have meet and greets because they weren't that big of a deal yet, so it was perfectly normal for fans to go into the parking lot and wait for them to come out of the venue to give them gifts, and get stuff signed. And that's exactly what me and Autumn did. Autumn was my only friend and I wouldn't change anything about our friendship, it was the best. We would go to local concerts every weekend and we were inseparable. While we waited, I pulled my guitar out of its case, getting it ready for them to sign it for me.

Suddenly all eyes were on me, and people started to ask if I could play something. I didn't expect the waiting fans to ask me to play, but I gave in asked for request. The first song that was requested was 'kissing in cars' by no one other than Pierce the Veil. I set my fingers on strings and strummed it once to make sure it was in tune. Once I was ready I took a deep breath in and started to play the intro. As the time approached to start singing I closed my eyes and sang the lyrics, keeping my eyes shut the entire time.

I strummed the last cord and sung the last word, then opened my eyes. I was starting to get nervous because I didn't hear anyone clap. But once I looked around I noticed everyone was staring at me with their jaws on the ground; I blushed and put my guitar back in its case. "Don't put it away! Play another song!" a familiar voice called from the back of the crowd of people in front of me. Everyone turned in disbelief. When I seen who it was, and who they were with, now MY jaw was on the ground. Who else would it have been but Vic, Jaime, Tony, and Mike, I just wanted to die.
