The Monster Mate

chapter 6

hey sorry I haven't updated lately dealing with writers block and finals. truly sorry bout the wait.anyway hope u enjoy chapter 6 :)

----recap----

the beta runs in the doors and says that were under attack. my father yells at me to go fight, and with that I take off out the door as soon as I get out the door I shift into my wolf and go after my first victim. I take that one out and go to my next which just so happens to be the beta. just my luck.

~~~~~Zander's pov~~~~~

we reach the pack borders and get ready to attack

'ok shift after I do, and attack when I give the order, got it'

i get a bunch of 'yes alphas'

'something big is going to happen' says my wolf kyle

'and whats that' I say slightly annoyed

'I don't know yet' he states

' god your freaking stupid'

he goes quiet after I say that , I quickly shift into my wolf ,which is black with one white strip down my back, and i'm a little bigger than the size of an alpha. as soon as I hear voice of little kids I give the command to my pack

'attack'

they start running and after I see all them running a head of me I take off. since I am alpha I run faster so by the time we reach the pack house i'm in the lead again. as soon a they see us the males run to defend while the females run into the pack house with the kids. I hear the alpha yelling at someone, so funny. I smell the most amazing smell ever. then my wolf starts going crazy.

'mate! mate,mate go to mate' kyle all but screams in my head

as soon as I see my chance I run in and grab the closest person and war starts. after killing that wolf I look for the alpha. I see him trying to get away, coward. I run after him and tackle him to the ground. I can easily tell that he's drunk. after a while I finally get him on his back and bite into his neck and it kills him instantly. after killing him I return to the pack house and see my pack still at war. I look for my beta and see him having war with a she-wolf. I see her switch places with him to where she's on top and them all of a sudden she looks back at me. and my wolf starts up again.

'mate! mate, mate go help mate!' he says angry that my beta is trying to kill her.

'hold on shes doing great ' I say proud

I look back at my mate and realize that she's losing bad right now, just as he was going to bite her neck I tackle him to the ground.

-------Lynns pov--------

I get a bolt of energy and switch places with the beta so that I am on top I give him a few good scratches. just as I am about to go for his neck I see something out of the corner of my eye and realize that its the alpha of the dark moon pack. I meet his eyes and instantly regret it cause my wolf goes nuts.

'mate! mate, mate!' she says happily

'no it cant be' I say a little scared

the biggest, meanest alpha is my mate. if cant be I must be dreaming. I turn back to look at the beta who scratches me good and flips us over, that's when I realize that I am about to die. right before he bites my neck he's tackled to the ground beside me with the alpha on him growling, that's when I realize that he just saved my life.
