Sitting in the theater watching the play with my family next to me, I look over to my dad and I can tell he's having a hard time once Nat came on stage. It was a hard loss for everyone but my dad knew her the longest. I see that he's zoning out so I snap him back to reality.

"Dad, daaad?" I say quietly, he just looks at me and says "I'll be right back" before I can say anything he walks off.

I look at Nate falling asleep, Lila and Cooper don't look too interested either. "Watch your phone if I text you" I whisper to Lila, who was right next to me, before I get up to go find my dad. I walk through the halls of the place the theater was being performed at, it's silent, the only thing I can hear is the faint music from the play. I walk outside and see him standing there. I can't say I'm surprised to see him outside but I don't blame him either.

"What are you doing out here" I say softly

"Just getting some air you know"

"Yeah, we don't have to watch the play. It's hard for me as well, plus everyone's falling asleep", My dad nodded and held his arms open for a hug, he didn't need to say anything. Me and my dad have always been close and I'm 21 so he doesn't have to act like everything is sugar and rainbows. I pulled away to text Lila to tell her to come outside, it only took a few minutes. I see my siblings come out and Cooper's carrying Nate who looks half asleep but once he sees dad he jumps out of Cooper's arms and runs over to him

"Dad, why was everyone singing and dancing about everything?" Nate asked

"I don't know bud. Are you tired?" My dad responded, Nate shook his head.

"Alright little buddy, what do you all say we look at the biggest christmas tree you'll ever see in your life!" my dad said. Yeah Lila and Cooper say at the same time, I smiled and nodded at my dad.

Dad picks up Nate and puts him on his shoulders. We walked to go see the christmas tree, well Nate rants about whatever he was talking about, I wasn't really listening. Lila looks over at me and grabs my hand, she knows me. Being sisters and the fact I'm still living at home even though I know I need to move out soon we tell each other everything. She's truly my best friend, well technically my family are my only friends. I don't really have a social life. But even with the age gap we are really close. We look at the Christmas tree and then we go to a restaurant. The meal was on the house because my dad was a superhero and all but it was really uncomfortable and I can tell my dad didn't like it.

We went back to the hotel and called mom, it was basically just Nate talking on the phone but she still talked to all of us which was nice. Cooper turns on the tv to try and watch something, "It's a little too late to be watching tv, we gotta pack?" my dad says trying to get us to bed even though Nate was knocked out on the couch.

I laughed and looked at the tv, when I saw someone in the ronin suit I froze. I look over at my dad and I can see he's worried, Cooper was making some comments but I couldn't bother to listen. Well my whole family got blimped away it was just me and my dad but I wasn't there when it happened. I was sorta house sitting the avenger's compound, basically just crashing in Nat's room until she got back so I could work on training to work with Nat. So my dad thought I got blimped too, but by the time I knew what was going on and texted him and called him there was no response. We both thought each other got blimped. We both obviously found out that neither of us got blimped and you know saved the half of the universe but it doesn't change the fact that he was the ronin for almost 5 years.

"Y/N you're in charge, get them packing and asleep" I hear my dad say before walking off into his room.

"Coop you know what to do" I say before I wink at Lila and go get my things.

I grabbed my blades and a gun, I can shoot an arrow pretty well actually but I prefer what Nat trained me with. I hear the hotel door open and close so I run out, "dad wait up!" I yell.

"Y/N, no I told you to stay with the kids" my dad said well running down the stairs

"Coop's got it, it's you i am more worried about" I say as we leave the building, my dad sighed "fine, don't get killed".

"I won't" I replied with a smile as we run off to go find the person with the suit.
