Catch and Release

A little while later a couple vans pulled up, my dad tried to hide his smile "you found us" he says.

 All of a sudden a bag goes over my head and I get tied up and thrown into what I'm guessing is a van. In the van they took all our weapons and things, now we wait. I heard my phone ring and that was kind of embarrassing because my ringtone was a Pitch Perfect song and they let it ring to the end of the song. It called again and one of the men answered, I could hear a female voice on the other end. It's either my mom or Kate, either of those would not be good. 

"Y/N Barton can not get to their phone right now" the man said before he hung up and threw my phone at the back of the van next to me. He laughed and said "I think your girlfriend was calling Y/N" the man said.

 God now my dad thinks there's something going on between me and Kate, I mean there is, I think but still, he doesn't need to know. We walked into the building and got put in a chair with my hands duct taped to the back of the chair and the bag got taken off my head. 

I see a bunch of men in red-ish tracksuits, they have weapons and one has a gun pointed to my dad "i'm not who you think I am" my dad says.

 "Really so you're not hawkeye?" the man responded

 "okay so I am who you think I am but i'm not the guy you're looking for" my dad says.

 "Where is guy bro?" the man asks, god this guy is weird. 

"What guy?" I say, the man turns his head and gun to me 

"guy in suit, Kate Bishop" he says

 "we have no idea who that is" my dad said so the man turns the gun back at him. Always protecting me

 "Yes guy, guy in suit Kate Bishop" the man said, raising his voice a bit more

 "I promise you we've never even heard of a Kate Bishop" my dad said. We all heard a crack on the roof and all the guns pointed up there right before Kate fell in through the glass and landed on the floor in front of me and my dad

 "gosh that really hurt" Kate said before looking up to see a bunch of guns pointed at her. 

"Ahh Kate Bishop" the man said before his men picked up tape and put duct tape on her wrists

 "ha lets put them on those rides" the man said. A man came up behind me, held me up and sat me on a spaceship ride. I looked to my side to see my dad being sat on a pony

"we only have two?" a man said

 "Put Kate with her girlfriend" the other man said so Kate got sat behind me with her in front of her and my hands were in front of me. The men had the idea to make the ride go, for hours and hours they kept putting quarters in the machine. I felt Kate's hips move back and forth over and over again, she rests her head on my shoulder and said "I was trying to help"

 "we were about to clear your name from the suit" my dad said clearly annoyed

 "Sorry" Kate said quickly, I lay my head back on her shoulder

 "it's fine" I say with a sigh

 We just kept moving back and forth for hours. The funny thing is, Nat taught me how to break out of duct tape so I could get out of here at any time but me and my dad needed to do it at the same time and he never gave me my que.

 Me and Kate just sat there rocking back and forth resting on each other. The men just made fun of us all and it was getting tiring and boring.

 Kate and one of the men started up a conversation that I really couldn't care about but Kate being her bubbly self she made the best out of this situation.

"You talk too much" one of the men said 

"is she always like this? Blah blah blah" he said

 i didn't say anything but yes, she is always like this.

 "Maybe I should rip your throat out" he said as he stepped closer

 "or maybe she will" he said as we heard a door open and a woman stepped out with a man following her. She walked up to my dad and saw his hearing aid and tried to talk to him in ASL. My dad tried to respond in ASL but he didn't know much.

 The girl signed and the man that came out with her said "she wants to know what you're doing here Clint Barton" he's her translater I guess

 "riding a unicorn" my dad replied. They talked a bit more but I zoned out, I don't know how but all of this seemed like too much of a movie and didn't feel real. These guys need to be more creative.

 All of a sudden I see a hand go on Kate's neck to choke her, I kept my calm and counted my seconds to see if I needed to step in but I didn't.

 I look over to my dad who was talking to Kate about confidence and he nodded at me. In that split second he broke out of his duct tape and ran off, I waited until most of them were caught off guard and ran after him and then I broke out of mine.

 "Wait, how did you do that!?" Kate yelled

 I started throwing punches at the few men that were there and knocked them out but then I felt a gun on my head so I stopped. The man who translated for the girl was holding a gun to my head and Kate yelled which caught him off guard and allowed me to take the gun off of him and point the gun at him. Instead of shooting I kick him in the face then use the gun to knock him out, I look around and see the woman fighting my dad so I run over to Kate who was trying to bite her way out of the duct tape.

 I took the blade that I hid in my shoe and cut her loose, the rookies forgot to check my shoes.

 Then my dad jumps out of this glass window into the room that me and Kate are in so we run to make our escape.

 When we got out Kate wanted to take the shiny red car but my dad wasn't going to ruin a car that looked like that so we took an old brown car. 

I hopped in the back and my dad was yelling about how Kate should drive when he was hotwiring the car.

 Shit he doesn't have his hearing aid on so it was just them yelling at each other. The tracksuits came out and started to follow us to my dad just got in the driver seat and Kate got in next to him so we could drive away.

A/N- this chapter is a bit shorter but I just wanted to get a chapter out, I got a bit of my idea's from other books<3
