"My mom put away the Creeper." Daphne said on the phone with Fred. "Really?" Fred asked. "She was part of the prosecution team that landed him in jail." She said. "That explains going after your mom, all the other lawyers involved in the case moved out of Coolsville, went to write books, be on talk shows, she was the only one who standed behind." Fred said. "Did you get any records from your dad?" She asked. "Yeah, will go over them tomorrow, talk to you later." He said. "Good night Freddy." She said, hanging up the phone. In the middle of the night Fred got a phone called, it was a restricted number but he answered it. "Hello?" He asked as he answered the phone. "I love you Freddy bear." The voice on the phone said. Fred had a shocked look on his face. "Mom?" He asked. Soon the phone hangs up, he tries to recall but the number is blocked. Fred's father enters the room. "Who was that?" His dad asked coming in. "Someone is stalking me." Fred said. "Freddy, it's a scam call, people mess with you when you least expect it." His dad said. "Dad, this person uses mom's voice, and she called me Freddy bear, you and I both know she is the only person who calls me that nickname, ever since I was born, no one else calls me Freddy bear, but her." He said. "Freddy, it was probably a bad dream or something, you thought you heard your mother but you didn't." His dad said, walking over to his bed. "Dad, something is wrong, someone is after us." He said. "Freddy, maybe we can talk to Mrs. Eldestien again, I can come with you, if you like." He said. "I don't need a therapist, I know what I heard, someone is after us, they killed mom, now they're messing with us." Fred said worried. "I'm gonna make an appointment with Mrs.Edelstein, try to get some sleep, you can take off school tomorrow if you want." His dad said leaving his room. At the Blake house, Daphne is sleeping when her bedroom window flies open, nearly scaring her. She wakes up to close it, when she hears strangers noises in the house, she goes downstairs, to see where the noise is coming from. "Hello, is anyone here?" She asked, looking around. She sees nothing, she goes to the kitchen to get something to drink, when she's a pig face masked in the window. She screams, and falls with fear that the man who attacked her will come again. "Daphne, Daphne." Her father said running down looking for his daughter. He and his wife find her on the floor of their kitchen. "Oh my god, what happened?" Linda said, comforting her daughter. "He's after me, the man who attacked me is after me." Daphne said. Her father looks out the window, and sees nothing there. "It's going to be ok baby, let's go back to bed." He said as he and his wife helped Daphne back up the stairs. The next day Fred goes to Daphne's house to check on her. "Daphne are you ok?" Fred said coming into her room. "Yeah, I thought I saw the man who attacked me, he was wearing the same pig mask." She said. ''Well last night, someone called me, pretending to be my mother, it was her voice and they used the same nickname she used to call me." He said sitting down on her bed. "What was the nickname she would call you?" Daphne asked. "Freddy bear, it was like teddy bear,my dad thinks the phone call was some guy trying to scam me but...it's like he doesn't care about her anymore, she died and he moved on." He said upset. "I know how you feel, somedays I feel like my parents are trapped in a loveless marriage. They would rather stay married then get a ulgy divorce, have it be front page in the Coolsville paper." She said."Parents kind of suck." Fred said as Daphne smiled. Fred then leans over and kisses Daphne, she enjoys the kiss, but soon pulls away. "Oh my god I'm so sorry, I should have not done that." He said in shock. "No it's fine really." Daphne said. Soon Shaggy and Velma entered the room. "Hey guys." Shaggy said. They notice an awkward silence in the room.''Is everything ok?" Velma asked. "Yeah, it's all good, come on let's go." Fred said getting up to leave. Moments later they arrive at a local diner to discuss what they have on the case. "Are you sure these are all the babies Dr.Cooper delivered, seventeen years ago?" Velma asked. "Positive, half the families either live here, or have moved out of Coolsville." Fred said. "But there all people we know, none of which has any grudges against us or our parents." Daphne said. "Maybe my step dad, he did arrest some people, I get my family but why your's?" Shaggy asked. "Maybe, we're looking at this wrong." Daphne said. "What do you mean Daphne?" Fred asked confused. "If she was pregnant, would she really want to keep her baby? He held and raped her for months, maybe the baby was put for adoption." She said as the gang listened. "One of the underground adoptions, Dateline did an expose on them, some girl's give their babies away by choice, other's force, been happening scene the 90's, they pay off doctors, and social workers for babies." Shaggy said. "So her parents knew about the Creeper getting their daughter pregnant, and forced her to give her the baby for adoption." Fred said. "Ok, so Shaggy's stepfather arrested the creeper, Freddy's dad delivered the baby, and my mother put the creeper away, what did Velma's parents do?" Daphne asked. "Velma, what do your parent's do?" Fred asked. "My dad's an accountant, and my mother is a...social worker, she also finds a couple children to adopt." Velma said in shock. "Now we know his motive, revenge." Fred said. The gang begins to look worried.
