Maheens POV :
My fingers were a blur from typing so quickly bro. I sat on a small round table with candles on as I awaited my milkshake, and I thought it was being ordered, but I looked up from my phone and realised they must have mixed up my order. I feel bad for the people who ordered a hot Turkish boy but got my cookie and cream milkshake. Cos now the Turkish guy is at my table. He's sitting down? What a recluse bro.
I make my awkard face as he smiles at me.
"Can I help you?" I almost whisper. Why am i so bloody awkward bro.
"Yes you can help me in a lot of ways. One is helping me do my job. I've got ur milkshake!" He says brightly, with his husky Leicester voice.
"Thanks" I grunt back. Can I not at least try make my voice sound attractive at all? Not today ig.
He leans in and whispers,
"It's no problem darling"
And I'm breathing in his warm cologne as he whispers into my neck, and the door bells jingle, ruining the moment. Honestly. I lean back in my chair as the guy leans forward over my milkshake and looks me up and down, like those girls at school who think they're better than everyone. I drum my fingers on the table, and for a few seconds there's an awkard silence until I feel arms around my neck, warm and caring. I look up to see a familiar face. It's Kay?
"Hey darling" he croaks, he's forcing his voice so much- what.
He looks forward and is met with The Turkish dudes frosty glare.
Kay nods at him.
"Yo who are you?"
"I'm Yusuf, how do you know maheen"
How does Yusuf even know my name-
Kay looks like he's about to blow so I answer the question for him.
"Kay is one of my online friends...."
Another awkard silence. Kay still hasn't quite accepted that me and him were never dating. He's been really annoying recently anyways. Kay pulls a chair from a nearby table and sits down between Yusuf and I. He gestures to Yusuf.
"Yo do you mind giving me and my girl some space"
Yusuf simply raises his eyebrows, winks at me and leaves to take some orders behind the counter.
I sigh.
Kay leans forward and the next thing I know he's kissing me, and I pull away as soon as my brain processed what was happening. My lips form a tight line as he tries to shrug it off.
He pulls out his phone, and mutters,"I need to catch my train now anyways"
And we hug before he marches out the store. Literally don't know what to think of anything that just happened.
It's getting quite boring, but my bus doesn't come for another half hour, so I try and keep myself entertained. I walk over to the till and I ask Yusuf to choose me a surprise milkshake.
I sit back down across from the vending machine and stare at myself in the small plank of polished metal in the machine until Yusuf comes back over with two milkshakes, one for him and one for me.He sits down again and smirks.
