Mew's P.O.V
I sat at my work desk, thinking of everything... Unable to stop. Thinking of everything I did you him... How good he felt wrapped around me, and how I loved every second of it. Even while dating San, I had always wanted Gulf... Although unlike San I stayed faithful.
"Mew... Are you ok?" I glanced up and smiled weakly at my boss, yet also best friend, Tul. "Yeah... I just... I'm dealing with a lot right now." He sat down next to me and took my computer, saving my project and closing my laptop. "What's up?" I gulped. Nervous to tell him but also trusting him with the information.
"Well... Yesterday, San cheated on me... And-" "He cheated on you? That asshole..."
I chuckled, used to this side of Tul. He was nice, and caring, and he knew what to say. "Yeah... But, I went to the bar, and ended up seeing Gulf there..." I trailed off as I thought about the image of Gulf, sitting there, talking to Art, looking just as gloomy as I probably had. "Then?" I sighed. "Well, we ended up going back to his place for shots and getting drunk... And ended up... Well... Having s-sex..." I stuttered the last statement... Concerned to see his reaction.
"Wow... I mean, you two always did have this weird sexual tension... But- Well... You guys were best friends, so what now?" I shrugged. "That's where I'm at. I haven't talked to him since last night, and I left him a note this morning telling him I had to go to work and stuff." Tul nodded. "Ok... So... How did you feel about it?"
"I really enjoyed it... Not just because it was sex but because I've honestly liked Gulf for a while now, but... I'm nervous that he regrets it." Tul patted my head and sighed heavily. "Look Mew. People tend to be more honest when they're drunk... I mean, sometimes mistakes are made, but you two have been through thick and thin together. Honestly, I doubt he'll be regretful. Maybe a little concerned for the future, but other than that, I think it will be fine."
I nodded, processing his words. "Right... Ok... Thanks man..." I smiled up and him and he nodded back. "Sure. by the way, the paper you're working on isn't due for another week, so if you want, you can just work on it at home." I raised an eyebrow. "Are you letting me off early?" Tul chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, I want you to go to Gulf and work this out."
"I knew there was a reason. Ok... I'll... I'll text him in a second." Tul nodded and patted my head one more time before getting up and leaving. I glanced down at my phone and opened Gulf's number. I started a text, but shook my head and quickly deleted it, getting up and packing my things. "Cya, I'll be back on monday." I called out, and Tul nodded, as did a few other coworkers. "Good luck..." Tul mouthed.

When getting out of my work building, I went to my car and got inside, immediately taking out my phone to text Gulf. "But what should I say?" I muttered to no one.
Me: Hey
I sent the text and waited for his response, which happened surprisingly quickly.
Gulf: Hey
Me: Do you want to cme over to my house?
Gulf: Sure... What time?
Me: Anytime...
Gulf: I'll head over now then...
Me: Ok.
I set down my phone and headed home, nervous of what the next few hours were going to bring...
