I'm from a place so far away most don't know it exists.
I come from loud annoying family members.
Distress brought upon by close people.
I've be. Stabbed in the back by those who I loved.
I've fallen into the same traps over and over.
I'm not here for pitty
I'm not her for laughs
I'm not here for smiles
Why am I here?
What my place, where do I stand?
I can't fight the big fight,
Or cure cancer
I'm nothing extravagant.
Hell I can barely write.
So why am I here?
I'm from a place so happy it's scary.
It's scary because I'm not always happy.
Everyone has a smile on their face, and a pip in their step
But I have a frown on my face,
A drop in my shoulders
And a depressed mind.
See but you would never know,
Unless I told you.
See because I hide it.
I hide it behind a smile
A pip in my step
A joyful expression
And makeup
But I cry.
I cry where no one can hear me
I fight back the tears so there is no proof
Because when you're in my place you must stay strong.
