Rain surrounds my atmosphere
Water turns to ice in my breath
Heart so cold the blood will freeze
Ice drips down my face, I shed no tear.
You said you'd never leave me alone
But now I'm sure I know
The heart that beats inside your chest
Is dark as my mind at it's best
The hurt I feel will always fade
But there will the scar remain
I doubt I'll ever trust again
My lifes stories wrote in pen
Always swore I'd never hurt
I feel apathetic and alert
But I let my guard down for you
And was punished for I'm a fool
My heart was shattered long ago!
