Ms. Tilkins forgot all about the doll. One day Millie decided that she really wanted to have her doll back so at 10pm Millie got out of bed and crept down the stairs. When Millie got to the bottom of the steps there was a door. She slowly turned the door knob trying not to make as much noise as possible. But the knob didn't turn "Damn it's locked!" Millie thought. "Hmmm...Ms. Tilkins has a key in her neck...maybe it's the key to the basement!" Millie thought again. So Millie tip toed back to her bed and went to sleep. The next day at the same time Millie went to Ms. Tilkins bed. Millie slowly turned the necklace around. Ms. Tilklins slowly groaned, Millie freezed, then got back to what she was doing. Eventually Millie got the necklace without getting caught. She went back to the basement and turned the key. Then she heard a *click* and the door opened. The room was very cold and dark and creepy... Millie turned on the switch. There were boxes everywhere. Millie looked around but couldn't find her doll. Then the fire alarm went off. She looked around alarmed. There was a fire closing in around her. She franricially looked for windows, even a door but the door was blocked with fire. It was hot, and humid. Millie's throat constricted then everything turned black. When Millie opened her eyes again she saw her doll floating in the darkness. Millie grabbed the doll, then everything went black again. Suddenly Millie found herself lying outside of the orphanage. But the world seemed smaller and Millie couldn't move. She just stared at the sky waiting for someone to show up. Just then Millie saw Ms. Tilkins walk up to her and pick her up. Millie looked at Ms. Tilkins' face then Millie finally realized...she was the doll.
