I woke up in an unfamiliar place. My head throbbing, my right arm sprained, my legs sore and come to think of it I don't exactly remember what happened. A man around my age who appeared six-foot-one and mysterious and his friend stood there talking and waiting.

"This is dangerous, aiding a mortal! "" you know our laws! "" I know but I couldn't let her get killed." They heard me move." She's awake." " stay here, I don't need you startling her." I was so very confused.

"Are you all right?" The 25 year-old asked. I didn't speak, I was holding my injured arm. He had pain relievers and a canteen in hand." Please take these it'll help." I did so willingly. I was afraid of him but I did not run." It's all right, you're safe here."

"May I?" He reached out and I held out my wrist." No serious damage." He helped me up. He pulled out his cell phone and called his cousin who works as a doctor in Boston Massachusetts." Hey bud I need to ask a favor."

He had made an appointment for me. " Simon, I need to take her in for a check up, you are in charge while I'm away." We got into his Jeep and rode off to the hospital(arrives)

"No broken bones, but she does have quite a concussion, and quite a case of amnesia." " but yet again hitting your head does or should I say can result when you text side effects, well at least as hard as you described. "

"Allan?" "She doesn't know about us? "" No of course not." " Okay and you have an imprinted on her?" "No of course not!" "Uh yeah, you did if you're so desperately trying to help her." " anyone would." " you know, you've always been a terrible liar!"

"Alright Zac so I did!" "Allan, you know the rules." " Yeah I'm aware but it's kind of late, you only imprint once." "Uh I know how imprinting works." They made their way back to where I had been waiting. "The amnesia will subside over time, in the meantime take a tremadol for the pain every six hours."

"Keep her with you." Zac spoke firmly. We had left. "So what's your name? Do you remember that?" Damen asked. "My name is Audrey." I spoke softly, he smiled. "My name is Allan." He introduced. "Do you remember your age?"

"Twenty-three." "Do you remember what you were doing in the woods?" I thought about it for a few minutes but my mind drew a complete blank. "No." I answered. "This part of the woods is very dangerous, too many nasty wolf's and such."

"If you stay with me I will keep you safe." He spoke softly. "Okay." I didn't refuse. Even if I was completely safe there was no way in the world that a wolf that has imprinted will ever let that person go ever.

His beta had been expecting our arrival,he was watching me like a hawk. "Go on inside and lay down." I didn't hesitate. "So what? Now we're allowing mortals amongst us? "Simon?!""So we're breaking pack law now?!" "Are you challenging your alpha!!!!"

"The human stays, you will best keep to yourself and hold your tongue." Allan flashed his canines and Simon submitted. The pack just stared at me as I made my way down the hall to the main bedroom.

The bed comfortably warm I had fallen right to sleep. It's funny within a week I still couldn't figure out what I was doing in that woods. Maybe it was something that had drawn me there.

"Something hypnotic perhaps." Vampirism is quite a powerful gift possessed by the most powerful vampires in entire existence. I did my best to try to sleep on the thought. But nothing quite reached my mind other then the pain that subsided as I drifted deeper into the depths of my mind.
