I haven't written this in forever I just got re-invested into this story. Sorry I've been preoccupied with other books and stuff...
Jaemin P.O.V
Jaemin watched from afar as the two went on their date, and by afar he was watching them on his crystal ball in the fairy archive room. He watched closely as the two went near the mystical-looking flower once more. He couldn't get it out of his head, he's seen that flower somewhere before.
He got up and went through some of their archives on flowers, he stopped after turning a couple of pages.
"This is it," he said out loud.
The Midnight Sleeper, it's a magical flower that only blooms at 12. They only exist in this realm, how did one end up in his garden? He went through some more books hoping to find some articles on some flowers being stolen and brought to the human realm.
"What are you doing?"
He stopped and turned around to see one of the fairy elders. He was very powerful and although he didn't look it he was actually 225 years old.
"I was just looking up the Midnight Sleeper, have you ever heard about it going missing?"
"Does this have something to do with your new assignment?" he questioned.
"How did you know?" he gasped, "It does actually there are some things that don't add up with him".
"Such as?"
"Well for starters he possesses some Midnight Sleepers in his garden, apparently placed by his mother. Secondly, the spell I cast on him didn't work completely, I know I'm still growing but that memory spell is preschool, the spell was broken by his new mate. Speaking of Jeno there's something off about him and his family as well, Then there's his hair".
"His hair?"
"It's cinder ash, the only case of cinder ash that's ever been seen in the world is-"
"Jungwoo"
"Doyoung you don't think?"
They just stared worried glances at each other and decided they'd investigate further back on earth.
Jeno P.O.V
Jeno admired Renjun as he laughed running next to the bunnies hopping in the field. This was their fourth date and Jeno has come to the conclusion that this boy's laugh was his favorite sound in the world. He also realized that his head over heels in love with him.
His cute sharp nose, puffy cheeks, and pretty eyes. Not to mention his kind personality, soft voice, and witty charm. How could he not fall for this beauty? He walked next to him grabbing his hand. He turned to look at him, his eyes squinting happily. It makes Jeno so happy to know that he's the reason the boy in front of him is making such a face.
