A shadowy figure walked amongst the people going past him, keeping his head down while minding his own business. The male wore rather odd clothing. It was all black, but with demonic signs covering the pants, shirt, shoes, and other clothes. He had pitch black hair, as black as night, red eyes, which were like blood, and he also had black sharpened nails. He had three separate forms in which he appeared in to others in his decision. The angry, psycho demon form he obtained consisted of a black hoodie, bandaged hands and face except for his eyes, which were offset. One was a glowing light blue and the other was a neon dark red. One form is his normal human disguise. This form was of a black haired 17 year old teenager boy, which was not as obvious as the other two forms when it came to appearance. The third form the male used was of the same appearance as the human look he showed himself in, but the nails were black, his bangs had three blood red stripes going over the left eye and over the right eyebrow obtained a red, upside down cross.

The figure stopped, being in the form of his human appearance but with demonic signs, and glanced around. He was currently in the town of Chicagoan, Pennsylvania. The town of where mysterious and dangerous characters flourished. This town also was loaded with criminals, killers, gangs and such, so I had to be careful. I had been trailing this guy and gathering information on him for months on end. He wasn't some stupid kid wandering around town like anyone else. This guy, the one I was describing just a minute ago, is the man I'm after. He's got loads of explaining to do. I wasn't after him for anything but what he had coming to him, as karma likes to bite you right in the butt after you do something bad.

I was to be meeting him to try and gather information out of him about the day I started trailing him in the first place, where I had been requested to investigate a murder. There were somany unanswered questions that I needed answers to. I returned my attention to my attire of my black suit and tie with a plain white collared long sleeved shirt underneath and straightened it out the best I could to look presentable as usual. I always liked to make my appearance the best as I could help it. It would also look good on my reputation as well as my outlook on the people when they looked at me. And so I wore my black suit and tie as my regular outfit so I could always be known to wear one. I patted the pockets of my suit jacket to make sure that nothing would be missing so I was prepared for the upcoming encounter with my man. When I looked back up, he had disappeared from my view. I gasped and whipped my head around, trying to regain my view of him, but to no avail. Crud...I had lost him. Well, if he wasn't around here, he was bound to be somewhere close by. I muttered to myself as I stood there deep in thought, pondering on where he could possibly be.

Suddenly, the hair on the back of my neck stood up and the air felt distinctly colder all at once and simultaneously I slowly turned my body 180 degrees clockwise. When I stopped moving, I looked up. He was in his psycho demon form and he was giving me an icy death stare from where he was standing. It was like I was staring at a ghost. Nobody was seeing what I was looking at. I rubbed my light blue eyes and stared at him. It wasn't just my imagination going crazy...crap.

I shook my head and strode forward, but he kept giving me the creepy stare. When the next person passed between his and my view of each other, he disappeared once more. Great...what now? I thought, shaking my head in disapproval of myself. Geez...how could I let this happen? I was oneof the top ten....and I call myself a detective. Heh. What do I know? I only have my son left from that accursed vampire attack two years ago. And speaking of my son...I should call him soon to see how he is doing at the office.

So I did just that. I stuck my hand into the front pocket of my jacket and pulled out my cell phone. It was a simple touch screen. Something I used regularly, so a keyboard type phone wasn't exactly the best type of phone for me. I needed a faster phone. I speed dialed my son's number and held the phone up to my ear, listening to the rings.
