I stared at Foxy getting slapped by Chi, I almost wanted to laugh but it was Mangle's, or, Marisa's brother and her locker was right next to mine. I saw her snicker too so I went on ahead to laugh too. "It's not funny! Principal Vincent is a killer from Marisa's old school!" Foxy said and Marisa and I stopped laughing. I turned to look at her behind me but she was gone and she was running in the hallways. I could here her crying echoes from the hallway. I kept my shades up as I tried to find her in the school. I followed the tracks and her footsteps were coming farther away as I sprinted so I knew she was running too. Suddenly the footstep sounds stop and I could here sobbing somewhere. I looked to my right and it was the janitor's closet where most of the crying was at.
I opened the door slowly creaking and I found her in there sobbing and crying and she lifted her face from her hands looking up at me. Her eyes were red and her cheeks were pink and hot tears were streaming down her face to her hands dripping to the floor. Is it a wrong time to say, that she's beautiful even when she's crying? I sat next to her on the floor while she hid her face in her knees. I remembered the losses I had, my dad, my mom was never found after an incident, it made me cry with her. I held back the tears but my eyes were watery so one hot tear fell down on the ground now filled with puddles of tears. I put my arm around her and Marisa put out her face from her knees and her cheeks were still pink. "Can...you still answer why you always wear shades?" Marisa asked I chuckled wiping the remaining tears on my face. "I come from a world of remaining survivors too," I said and taking them off showing two eyeless holes with one little dot on it. "Can you show me yours now?" I asked and she closed her one eye brushing the hair off her face. Later she opened her eyes and she had the same thing as me. "I was, shot in the eye at my school, the only way I could live was to take my eye out and the eyepatch would make it worse so I was forced to this," Marisa said and I kept my arm around her. She put back the hair on her face while I put my glasses on.
"Do you think, the world sees us as freaks?" she asked me. I shook my head. "At times, I like to call ourselves survivors." She chuckled. We both did for a second then it quieted down. She faced me with her cheeks still pink and mine the same, I think. I leaned in and our foreheads touched and I planted a kiss on her lips. I felt her kiss back then she pulled away. "Can I call you Mangle?" I asked she nodded. "Only if I could call you Goldie," she said and I nodded. Mangle rested her head on my shoulder and fell asleep. Worst possible time and scene but I didn't care. I closed my eyeless eyes and tried to fall asleep like her.
