Elena pov

Me, Stefan, Damon and Ariel are inside the dance

a student walks up to the podium,

"This is for Ariel and elena, From Klaus," the student said

then music started playing,

"That was a lame, Cheap shot he's just trying to bait us," Damon said

"Or he knows what were doing," I said

"Not likely," Damon said

"I know everyone here," ariel said

"Maybe he's not here, Just wants us to believe that he is," Stefan said

"It's a party, People blend, let him come to us," Damon said

"There's Rick We'll be back," Damon said.

grabbing my wrist

"We will?" I said

he guides me through the crowd,

we walk over to the stands next to Rick,

"Special dedication, hun? this guy's a little twisted," Rick said

"Im' not impressed," Damon said

Rick looked disappointed and looks at us

"No?" Rick said

"Well I am my mom always says a girl always likes to feel special," I said to them.

"Let me know if you see anything out of whack," Damon said he leaves

"Sorry he's a little moody you know how he is," I said.

looking up at Rick

He nods I leave

Klaus POV

that girl, her smell It's different I've never smelt anything like it she's not just a witch but something else that's for sure, but there is also this sadness in her eyes,

"love I am going to find out what you are," I said smirking

Elena pov

I'm in the hallway I see Rick he sees I keep staring at him, he's acting differently and with my new found , could he be....

Klaus I thought that's the only explanation,

Next thing I know he's in front of me I look up at him,

"Elena could you come with me I need to talk to you privately," He said

I nodded Okay I'll play I thought

we walked into his classroom,

"Wanna tell me what's on your mind love?" Rick asked

once he said love I knew it wasn't him

"you're Klaus..." I said crossing my arms leaning against the desk

"Well done love, what gave me away was it the clothing?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes

"Where's Rick?" I asked glaring at him

"Relax love it's just a loner," He said

"Give him his body back," I said glaring

he chuckled

"I will in time, now the question for me is what are you?" He asked

"I don't know what you're talking about... I'm a witch." I said

"Really?" He said

"Yes, now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go," I said about to leave

"Sorry love but I can't let you do that," He said standing in front of me

He grabbed me from behind in a quick motion he had his hand over my mouth, trying to knock me out.

I elbowed him in the sides with both my elbows making him back up in pain and groan I pull a drawer from the desk I stand on top of the desk hitting him upside the head with the drawer, stunning him enough that I could run out of the class room,

as I'm sprinting down the hallway I'm tackled to the ground,

"you love are full of surprises but unfortunately I can't have you spilling my little secret just yet," Klaus said

he covers my mouth with his hands, I try to struggle but my arms are pinned my his knees, then everything goes black.

Klaus POV

I pick up elena's limp body and take her to the class room we were just in, Still she is but a teenager but is just as strong as I am, she is full of surprises I lay her on the desk,

"Sorry love nothing personal," I said kissing her forehead

Third Person POV

"ariel!" Klaus/ Rick said running to her and Bonnie

"He has Jeremy," Rick said

"What?" Ariel said

"What?!" Bonnie said

"Yeah, Klaus has Jeremy, come on," Rick said

They follow him through the side door and into the hallway.

"Okay, so where are you taking us?" Elena said

"Just a little further," Rick said

"Wait... somethings not right," ariel said "Where's Jeremy?" Bonnie asked

Rick stops walking and laughs

"I just had to get away from that dance the sixties, ugh, not my decade," Rick laughs

"I mean, whose call was that, anyway? I much prefer the twenties, the style, the parties, the jazz," Rick said

"Alaric, are you on vervain?" ariel asked

"Now why would you ask me that question, ariel?" Rick asked

"He's being compelled," ariel said

"Nope, try again, it seems Elena, your twin,  was the only one to put the pieces together," Rick said.

"What have you done with her?" Ariel said clearly worried about her twin.

"Relax, she's just taking a nap," Rick said

"What's going on?" ariel asked.

"Okay, I'll give you a hint, I am not Alaric." Rick said

"Klaus!" Ariel said

Klaus smiles broadly

"Surprise!" Klaus said opening his arms wide

Elena POV

I hear voices,

"Do you think she's okay?" I hear one voice

"Yeah he just knocked her out I think," Another voice said.

My eyes flutter open,

Ariel, Stefan and Damon all sigh in relief

I sat up and see I'm in the boarding house,

"What did I miss?" I said in a raspy voice
