I am opening the door to my 3rd period athletics class when she yells "Hold the door!" I hold it open. She is holding the biggest amount of books I have ever seen. "What are you doing that you need so many books?!" I say. She replies "Guess what?! I got in!" I knew she had been working hard to get in Yale. I didn't doubt she would get in a Ivy League but I didn't think she would get into the school of her dreams. Yale here she comes!

She is driving me home and I ask her if she wants to come to my house at 6. She replies, "I wouldn't miss it. Sleepover or no?" I say, "Sleepover. What else?" And I start laughing. She says ok and I get out of her car and into my house.

I'm stressing. I'm asking myself over and over again why I didn't have any nice clothes. Oh, well. I'll have to find something else.

I hear my doorbell ring. "Rose! Doorbell!" My moms calls for me. "I'm coming!" I open the door. "Hey! Let's get this party started." She says and smiles goofily. I squeal and we walk up the stairs to my room.

"Did you clean your room for me, Rosie?" I say "Yes" so quietly that I could barely hear it. "Aww. You didn't have to do that." I sigh wanting to kiss her so badly, but I know I can't. I can't stand it when she talks.

"Yes, one large cheese pizza. Yes, with pineapple." I say into my cell phone. "Thank you"

"The pizza's on its way." I say. "Did you make sure to get pineapple on it?" She asks. "Yes, I made sure. Don't worry. It's just pizza" I say then laugh. She starts laugh with me then cries out in pain. "What's wrong?" I say. It's so painful she can't even speak. I tell I'll ask my mom because she is a nurse.

I run downstairs and am yelling for my mom. "Mom! Help! Something's wrong!" She rushes to my aid and runs up the stairs with me.

Jackie is passed out on the floor. My mom immediately kneels on the ground and checks for a pulse. It's very faint. Even though there is a pulse, my mom starts CPR. Mom yells at me to call 911. "911, what is your emergency?"
"Oh my gosh. Help! She's on the floor!"
"Ma'am, can you tell me what is going go on?" I'm shaking. The love of my life is dying. "I don't know! We were having a sleep over and she doubled over and passed out!" "Ok, is there a pulse?" I ask my mom. She says that it's still very very faint. "It's very slow and faint. My mom is a nurse and she is doing CPR on her. Her name is Jackie. Jackie Anderson. My name is Rose Harper. Please hurry!" "Ma'am, in order for me to help I need to know your address. Can you tell me it, please?" I tell her my address and I'm silently praying that she stays alive.
