RETAINING YOUR MEMORIES AFTER DEATH isn't the blessing one thinks it is. Especially if you died a gruesome death, (she still couldn't fully talk about it) but having your memories from childbirth? Now that's just down right traumatizing.
Aahana—apparently, it's Parvati now, who names their kid Parvati?—did not comprehend anything from her childbirth, thankfully, but at the mere age of five years old she was able to comprehend her life as if she were grown. Born alone. Being raised an only child. Living a fairly normal life in the 21st century (until her death date that is).
A past life that greatly contrasted her new one. Parvati Patil, a different name—cause technically she is a different person—was born at the dead of night, the sky littered with small twinkles of burning fire in outer space, when nocturnal creatures and freed spirits came out to play, born to Saira and Aaron Patil in the late 20th century. And not only was she no longer an only child, but she now came in a set. She has a fraternal twin, Padma.
The only similarities of her past life and her new one is that she was still an Aries, thank the heavens above, because she wouldn't have known what to do if she had been born as a Cancer, or worse, a Gemini.
