Gian is right. Following someone with too many people would only make things harder. He's also right about Elijah. As much as I trust him, it's wise to be cautious.

But what confuses me is how focused Gian is on all of this. He's so determined to find out who the fake servant is, and his attention to detail is impressive. I can't help but wonder why he's so invested. Does he have another motive beyond just finding the fake servant?

I don't want to doubt him. We're supposed to be working together, not suspecting each other. But his level of focus... it's starting to make me curious.

The tension in the room was palpable as my son reassured me. I could see the worry in his eyes, but I needed to trust him.

"What's the news?" I asked, my voice steady despite my concerns. "Everything's fine. Don't worry," he replied, though his tone was less than convincing.

"Make sure that it will be alright until the end," I said firmly, needing to know he was fully committed. "I'm doing my best," he said, his head hanging low.

"Don't let me down," I added, trying to convey the gravity of the situation. He nodded in agreement. "Don't be suspicious. I trust you, son. You won't let me down," I reassured him one last time. He nodded again, and I hoped that trust was well-placed.

I noticed Gian sitting alone beside his bed, looking a bit down. I walked over and sat next to him.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked, concerned. "Yes... Don't worry about me," he replied, offering a slight smile. "Really? You seem sad. You can tell me anything. Just trust me," I encouraged.

"I trust you, I really do. You've helped me so much and you've been so kind. I just feel a bit sad," he admitted. "Why? What's going on?" I pressed gently.

"What if... What if your friends are suspecting me?" Gian asked hesitantly. "Don't worry about that. They've already said they trust you, right?" I reassured him.

"But what if they're just saying that to make you feel better? What if they don't actually trust me and are just saying it for your sake?" he continued.

"I trust them. They wouldn't lie to me or you. They're real friends. They've never let me down," I said, giving him a reassuring smile. He smiled back, seeming to find some comfort in my words.

"Thank you again," he said gratefully. "No worries. You're my best friend," I replied with a warm smile.

"Hey, do you trust Gian?" I asked the group, trying to gauge their feelings. "Yeah, we trust him. He seems kind and trustworthy," James said.

"As I mentioned, I trust him too. William trusts him a lot, so we should trust him as well," Natalie agreed.

"I'm just a bit confused about his friends. What if one of them is the fake servant?" I said, expressing my concern.

"Honestly, I'm not sure I fully trust him. But since William does, I'll try to give him the benefit of the doubt," Elijah admitted.

"We need to trust him. If we don't, it's like not trusting William's judgment. We have to support him," I said firmly, hoping to settle any doubts.

I was walking peacefully, my hand in my pocket, when suddenly someone grabbed my collar tightly. The man's face was close to mine, and he looked furious.

"Hey!!!! Get me out of here, you bastard!" the man shouted.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, confused and trying to understand his anger.

"I know who you are... Get me out of here, or I'll spread the news and make sure you end up in jail!" he threatened.

"What? I don't understand what you're saying. I'm sorry... I really don't know what you mean," I said, trying to de-escalate the situation.

As he was about to punch me, someone intervened. It seemed that this person knew him and managed to stop him from attacking.

"I'm sorry for my brother. I don't know what's got into him. I'm really sorry," the man said apologetically.

"Oh... It's okay," I replied, still confused about what just happened. I watched them walk away, feeling bewildered and unsettled by the encounter.

(William P.O.V)

"Did you guys observe anything tonight?" I asked the group, hoping for some updates.

"Nope, I was busy helping the other servers, so I didn't have time to observe. Sorry," James said.

"I didn't notice anything worth mentioning," Elijah added.

"We didn't see anything either," Gian and I responded.

"Nothing to report here," Brianna and Natalie said.

"So, no clues today. Alright, let's get some rest," I said, standing up.

"Okay, goodnight everyone," Elijah said as he prepared for bed.

"Goodnight," we all replied in unison.

As the group settled into bed—Brianna, Noah, Elijah, Natalie, James, and me—Gian headed toward his own bed, leaving me to reflect on the day's events and the strange encounter I had earlier.

I was lying in bed, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. Frustrated, I decided to get up and take a walk to clear my mind, hoping that a brief stroll would help me relax.

As I approached the door, someone suddenly pushed me hard from behind. I stumbled and slammed into the door, pain shooting through my nose. I touched it and felt the warm, sticky sensation of blood. Dazed, I looked up to see who had pushed me and was stunned to find my friends standing there. They looked angry and determined.

"Where are you going? Are you escaping?" one of them demanded, their voice filled with accusation. "What? I'm just..." I began, but another friend cut me off.

"Don't try to explain. We already know that you are the right hand of the boss," they said, leaving me shocked and confused.

"What?! Me?!! How?!! How can you say that?" I asked, my voice trembling. "You're always leaving us," my friend responded.

"I'm with William and his friends. I'm not leaving you guys. I always come back," I protested.

"Don't try to escape. You have no place to run because you will die now," another friend said, and before I could react, they both punched me.

The pain and confusion were overwhelming as I struggled to understand what was happening. Why were my friends accusing me of being the right hand of the boss? I needed to clear this up quickly, but first, I had to deal with the immediate danger.
