Sonali sighs, running a brush through her hair. Hales was currently talking her ear off while she got ready for the dinner. "So are you going to kiss him?" She glared at her phone. "Haleigh, I am NOT going to kiss my arch nemesis. I'm pretty sure you're insane."

Hales laughs. "Come on, he's not that bad. Plus he's hot. And I'm pretty sure he's also-" "Oh no, we are not going there. I do not need to be thinking about that." Sonali clasps her necklace and puts in her earrings. "That is disgusting Hales." She puts in her discrete earpiece. "Maybe but we both know I'm not wrong." She smiles.

"Darren is scowling at me. I probably should go now, have fun~" Sonali sighs as Hales hangs up. She fixes the black sparkling cocktail dress, touching up her make-up before walking out. Sonali grabs her purse and jacket, heading down. "Bye Mama, I'm heading out to dinner." She gives her mom a half-hug. "I'll be back around 11:00, don't wait up for me."

Her mother scoffs and shakes her head. "I will stay up if I want. Go have fun on your date mija." She squeezes her arm before heading off to the kitchen. Sonali shakes her head with a smile and goes out to the car.

Garret's voice came over her earpiece. "Hey, ready?" Sonali hums. "As I'll ever be. I am not looking forward to it, and Hales did not help." She sighs, starting her car and getting inside. "How are the contacts working?" "Great, I can see crystal clear what you're seeing."

Jamison rolled his eyes at Nolan. "What dude? She seems smoking hot. You're not going to even try for it?" He tosses an apple at his friend's head. "She is not that kind of girl man. It is very evident from her texts, pretty sure she hates me because I'm a super. That is what peaked my interest." Jamison smiles. "Plus she picked an upscale restaurant without flinching, has a double major in science, and I can bet you is leagues above average intelligence."

Nolan sighs. "I will never understand your taste in women. We're in our 20's, and can get any girl. Especially you. You want someone who doesn't like you." He takes a bite of the apple. "That kind of stuff can wait until we're in our late 30's." Jamison chuckles and grabs his jacket. "See you later man." he heads out of the apartment to his car.

Sonali waited at the table, watching the time tick by on her phone. He had two minutes before she asked for the bill to cover the wine and left. "You really meant it when you said 8:00 on the dot Soli." Garret hums. "I have no patience, especially if he has the audacity to waste my time when he asked me out."

Just then a very familiar face walked into the doors and towards the table. Sonali flips her phone and looks at him. "Cutting it a bit close there Bullet, I was about to ask for the check." She sips her wine and settles back, studying him. "Just Jamison please." He sits and smiles. "It's nice to meet you." Sonali quirks an eyebrow. "I'd say that's yet to be determined."
