The Proposal Trip

I woke Summer up by making love to her. After we cuddled for awhile,we got up,showered and laid out what we were gonna wear for the day. Walking up behind her and encircling her within my arms,I whispered in her ear,"Baby you should def wear what's in the closet." I lovingly nibbled her ear,making her giggle. She turned in my arms. "Did you get me something special for today?" "Si Mami,I did actually,since today is a special day." She looked quizzically at me,raising an eyebrow. "What,now you're gonna tell me you're related to The Rock Mami",I joked. She fake glared at me. " That's not even funny." I chuckled. She left the loving comfort of my arms to open up the closet. She saw the brand new white dress,lime green strappy shoes,jewelry and purse I had hung up for her. She literally jumped back into my arms. "Luis! Gracias,how do I say that you're the sweetest man that I've ever met in Spanish?" I looked into her eyes as I said,"Eres el hombre más dulce que he conocido." (You are the sweetest man that Ive ever met.) Which earned me a really sweet and passsionate kiss. "You're already sexy when you speak Luis,but when you speak Spanish you make my heart skip a few beats." I smiled deeply at Summer. "Lo sé bebé." (I know baby.) We got dressed. I took her small hamd in my big one as we left. She was really surprised that we weren't taking a rental car. Comfused,she asked me,"Um Luis did you forget our transportation?" I laughed as I replied,"No, no lo olvidé. Solo pensé que esto sería más romántico mi amor." (No I didn't forget. I just thought this would be more romantic my love." When the horse drawn carriage pulled up,she was in awe. I helped her in first,then climbed into the carriage beside her. She scoited closer to me. "Oh Luis,this couldn't be more perfect." I smiled. Just wait baby,til you see everything else I have planned for tonight. While Mami was looking at all the sights I quickly texted Rhea and thanked her for setting up the carriage ride for this morning and the dinner for later on tonight. I quickly put my phone away. Summer snuggled into me and I felt so in love. We took a tour of Old San Juan,where I showed Mami around. Then we ate lunch at Sage Steak Loft. Next we headed to go Salsa Dance (since Summer wanted to learn and she didn't realize how much closer it would bring us). We had fun,after she initially stepped on my foot several times😂. After that she got better and better. I had to thank Marilyn and Riddle for their cover story later on When she saw them,she asked what was up. So Riddle said he was daring Marilyn and they were on their way to tue beach to watch the sunset. Then they were going out to dinner. Then Summer wanted to go grab our swim suits and take a hike to the waterfall. So we took the carraige back to the hotel and got our swim suits and towels and headed up to the Nunque National Rainforest. By the time we made it there,there was a nice dinner set up at a cute lil table complete with two chairs,a vase of roses and tulips and two glasses of champagne. Mami looked at me questioionly. "Luis,what is all this?" I smiled. "Para mostrarte lo increíblemente especial que eres para mí. Para mostrarte lo mucho que significas para mí y lo profundamente que me preocupo por ti." (To show you how special you are to me. To show you how much you mean to me and how deeply I care for you.) "Luis,I love it." I hugged her to me. "I'm not done yet Mami. When we'rw done here,I have two more surprises for you Mami." Once we done eating and had finished our champagne,(hers was non alcoholic),I took her in my arms and kissed her passionately. Then I pulled her tightly into my chest and we jmoed off the top of the cliff,landing down by the waterfall below. I took her hand and led her behind the waterfall. "Summer,Has tenido mi corazón por un tiempo. Haría cualquier cosa en el mundo por ti. Te amo con todo lo que hay en mí y todo lo que soy. Sé que tú también me amas bebé." (You've had my heart for awhile . I would do anything in the world for you. I love you with everything in me and all that I am. I know that you love me too baby. ) We swam away from the waterfall to where Riddle and Marilyn had brought the jet ski earlier (while we were hiking up here). I got on and she sat behind me. "Agárrate fuerte de mí." (Hold on tight to me.) I gunned the engine on the jet ski and soon we oulled up to the beach. Summer wanted to look for seashells and I grinned cuz I knew she was gonna find the one with the engagement ring inside (thanks to Rhea,giving it to Marilyn to give to Riddle).😉 So now here we were and she was picking up beautiful seashells. Finally she found the special one. When she picked it up she heard something inside it. I smiled encouragingly at her. "Maybe you should see what's inside Mami",I sweetly suggessted. As she was trying to get it out,I slowly sank into the sand on one knee,patiently waiting for her to free the ring. Finally afterbabout three minutes she did and the look on her face was well worth the wait and all the planning involved. " Luis!" I tenderly grabbed her hand in mine,looked into her stunning blue green hazel eyes with gold flakes,smiled lovungly at her. I told her first in espanol,then in English,"Desde que te vi por primera vez, supe que serías mía. (Ever since I saw you for the first time,I knew you would be mine.) "Eres tan perfecta para mí Summer." (You're so perfect for me Summer.) "Quiero estar contigo para siempre. No quiero perderte nunca, nena. Quiero envejecer contigo a mi lado. Te amo. Te amo con todo dentro de mi. Por favor, hazme el puertorriqueño más feliz del mundo y di que sí a convertirme en mi esposa. (I wanna be with you forever. I don't ever wanna lose you babe. I wanna grow old with you by my side. I love you. I love you with everything inside me. Please make me the happiest Puerto Rican man in the world and say yes to becoming my wife.) I spoke to her as I slid the ring on her finger. She looked shockrd and tears pooled in her eyes as she gazed in my eyes. " Mami,you gonna gimme an answer? I"m not in my twenties anymore and my leg is falling asleep",I teased. Suddenly and without warning,she jumped into my arms,knocking me backwards as I instinctively and protectively held her. "Yes Luis! A million times yes! I love you Luis with all my heart and I'd love nothing more than to be your wife. But I have to tell you something first." I smoothed her hair away from her gorgeous face and used my other hand to gently cup her cheek in my hand. "Si se trata de tu embarazo, ya me di cuenta de que es hermoso. Y no podría ser más feliz." (If it's about your pregnancy I already figured that out beautiful. And I couldn't possibly be any happier.) Summer smiled at me. "Are you truly happy with me Luis?" I replied,"Si Mami. Te amo.
