Intro

'If I'd known then what I know now, I never would have...'

"I'm done, I'm just done. I have done EVERYTHING to make sure my life was going to go well, but no, the universe hasn't provided any relief! Now, here I am, in the middle of the woods, stranded, in the night because some jackass decided to leave me! I don't even know where to go!" You yelled into the woods, kicking a stick. You let out a nice long breathe of anxiety and stress and the worries of your mind... You screamed, loud like that Grinch yoga meme, you know the one. You decided to be a dumb smart person by continuing to walk through the night. 

You found a cave. Upon getting closer, you saw that it had a tattered fence on the outside and some text you could read, but it was in no language you had seen before. It read:

Only the chosen can see.
Only the chosen can hear.
Only the chosen can enter.
Only the worthy may be free.

You decided to enter despite these words as it felt calm and reassuring. You made your way through the cave trailing your eyes across the many bookshelves. A specific book sitting on a stool with a key sitting next to it caught your eye.

"Real and Possible Realities and Beyond" You read the title aloud. The lock on the book looked to fit the key. With little debate you grabbed the key and book. I mean, not like you had any other form of entertainment. You opened the book's lock.
