“Do you realize what you have done, you have not only put your life in danger but Nicks life as well” played the voice with-in my head.
Laying
peacefully on my king sized bed, I winced with fear thinking about what just
played in my head. Unaware, that my phone was ringing off the hook.
Mr. Jackson barged into my room, with the slightest bit of fear in his
eyes, he yelped.
“Nick?!,
what are you doing, haven’t you seen any of your messages …. Because your
mother needs you right now and are in serious trouble.”
Without
any questions, I just left, I ran as fast as my stubby little childish legs
could take me. I ran, and ran, and ran until I reached the end of the
spaceship. There, right above my head was a gold name tag on the door
that lead to no other place then my mother ‘special’ room, as I opened the door
with more fear and adrenaline running through my veins, there stood my mother
with a plastic like substance covering the door. She looked at me, as if
she has done something beyond speak able, my mother a woman of age, 49
was standing there with nothing more than a remote in her hand and a facial
expression of ‘I’m so sorry’.
“NICK?
I’M SO SORRY IF I EVER HURT U, AND IF I EVER CONFUSED U”
“MOM,
WHAT ARE YOU DOING AND WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT”
With
a paused and, she pressed the big bright blinking button, and my phone was
buzzing again, with that a door opened with-in her the back of her spacious
office. The person I loved with all my might was setting her out into
space with nothing other than her measly lab coat.
All
I could hear was a faint scream “nick look at you pho-” right before my eyes my
dear beloved mother was gone, her body disintegrated out into space. Then
I thought about what she said, before she ever finished her sentence I could
understand what she was talking about. I pulled out my phone and checked
all my messages. Apparently they were all from my mother, they all said
‘I love you nick’ with a small heart at the end, except the last message it was
the one that just buzzed right before mother click the button.
I
went back to my room, getting several glances from my mother’s workers.
They all bombarded me with questions; I didn’t answer any of them.
I guess I was in shock, my mother the only person that ever loved me, is
gone. I decided to take a nap, thinking ‘maybe this is just a dream’.
