Reunion

The letter.

Hobi can't believe his eyes. He started tearing up and when the first tear fell, he was wrapped up in Yoongi's arms.

"Hey, why are you crying?" Yoongi asked. He pulled back to wipe the tears streaming down hobi's face.

"Because... I read the letter you le-left for me-me..."

Flashback 💭

Hobi lay on the couch wrapped up in a blanket cocoon. Today was the last day that he and his friends were supposed to hang out together with Yoongi before he left... but he didn't go. Instead he stayed home and cried his eyes out.

*knock knock*

"I got it!" His sister, Jiwoo said. He wasn't going to answer it anyways. He was to emotionally in pain to get up.

Jiwoo opens the door to Yoongi. "Oh Yoongi I thought you were leaving today?" She asked. Her brother had told her what was going on when Yoongi haven't been to the house in a weeks. Yoongi came over at least 2 times a week to hang Hobi by themselves.

"Yeah I had some time to hang out with the guys before I go but... hope didn't come... I just wanted to... just-can you give him this?" Yoongi asked. He pulled a small envelope from his pocket and held it out for her to take it.

"Oh, you don't want to give it to him yourself, he's-"

"I don't think he wants to see me... but please make sure he takes it." And with that Yoongi left.

Jiwoo walked back into the living room to her brother now sitting up. When she sat next to him, he didn't move or look at her but asked, "what did he want?"

"Well he wanted me to give this to you." She handed Hobi the letter. He looked at it for a few seconds before taking it and opened it.

Dear hope,

I guess this is my goodbye because we'll... anyways, I wrote this because I'd thought that you didn't want to talk to me but I want to say something. I know you think I'm breaking our promise because I'm leaving but just think of it as a pause in that promise. I had no choice in leaving.. my dad got a job offer and he took it without hesitation because all he cared about was getting away from the city,  away from my mother. To start over. But let me tell you this, that I will come back for you, I'm not going to leave you alone. You have the others to keep you company for now. So goodbye for now and I love you, please wait for me.

When Hobi started sobbing, jiwoo didn't know what to say. She just pulled him into her arms.

"He's gone and I didn't get to say goodbye!!"

End of flashback.💭

"...and I.."

"And you what hope?" Yoongi asked hopefully. He waited so long to see his love again and he's not going to let him go no matter what he said.

"And-and I love you too!" Hobi finally said and quickly connected their lips into a powerful and passionate kiss. Yoongi pulled away.

"So you don't hate me?" Yoongi said a tear falling down his cheek.

"Of course he doesn't hate you!!" The two turn around to see Jin standing in the archway to the kitchen. Namjoon on the other side of him.

"Do you know how many times I had to listen to him complain about how he wished he had went to the bowling alley with us the day before you left?!"

"Hey! We were having a moment!" Hobi laughs and the others join in.
