My first day 10/09/14

I walked into the reception. My first day of Year 7. I knew this year would consist of happiness, sadness, excitement and much more. But there was that lasting feeling in my heart, where I just wanted to rewind time and spend more time with my 4 BFFs- Rhianna - BFF since 3 years old, Maddie- BFF since Year 2 after my Year 1 BFF left,
Molly- BFF half way through year 5,
Yasmine- BFF since Year 3. And then there was me. Aria Ryde.

A picture crossed my mind of our little group as I walked to my tutor room mindlessly. I knocked on the door timidly as I was late and I was let in.
"Sorry Miss I was late," I whispered.
"It's alright. It's your first day," My tutor beamed. I sat there alone,  whilst everyone talked to their friends. Molly was in the other side of the room. Rhianna was in another tutor. And Yasmine goes to Kendrick. And Maddie went to Little Heath. I looked at the girl behind me. Automatically, I knew she was popular. So I didn't try. I hope tutor would run through but it seemed everlasting. Eventually, the bell rang,  and I went to Molly.
"What lesson you got?" She asked.
"Geography in C13. You?"
"Same. Come let's go together," She said. We walked to C13 with no luck. A couple of people that we met on the way were also in our lesson trying to find C13. Soon,  we had a large party trying to find the classroom. After a good 15 minutes e found it and had our lesson. But we had a cover teacher. We sat through geography and some listened, some talked,  some fidgeted and I zoned out like some. Then the lesson was over and I checked my planner for my next lesson. English A21.

Me and Molly walked to English as we were both in A21. We found A block. And then went up each floor looking for room 21. We found it and the teacher pointed at the smart board. We looked for our names. I was on a table at the back. Purple table. Molly wasn't.

I went to the purple table and sat down. There was two girls sitting opposite me. One looked popular and the other looked like a class clown-like Maddie. A girl,  which I think was in my tutor,  handed out text books.
"Hello Guys. I'm Mr Norman. So to get to know you better I'm going to ask your names," The teacher said. He pointed at people as they said there names. Taylor ( @SimplyTiffanyRose ), Ellie ( @wxllflower ) , Nikki ( @__niachh ) , Molly ( @oasia1233 )and then they came to our table.
"Jade," the popular girl said.
"Sarah," The funny girl said.
"Aria," I said. Jade raised her eyebrows and looked at Sarah.
We worked in our textbooks. I worked silently as Jade and Sarah chatted endlessly. I hoped for the first time I'd be involved in the conversation. It was too good to be true. As usual. The bell rang for bell and we were dismissed.

I went to the canteen and found a table. Molly came with me and we both sat down. We talked as we waited for Rhianna. Rhianna came with a short, smiley blonde girl.
"I'm Ella," She said.
"I'm Aria and this is Molly. Want to sit down?" I said.
"Sure," she said. Ella went and got a pizza as we talked to Rhianna. Ella came back and we talked until the bell rang again.
This time I had math in D36.

I went in search everywhere and with no luck. Instead I bumped into Rhianna's older sister, Jessica.
"Do you know where D block is?" I asked.
"It's right behind you," she giggled.
"Thanks," I said. I found D36 eventually and went inside the classroom. Some familiar faces. Some. There was Sarah (from English), Cherry (from my primary school) and some others. I saw the only seat left was next to Cherry. I sat down and copied from the board onto the book.
"Hey Aria," Cherry said. I was surprised Cherry never talked to me in primary school, she was popular and I wasn't.
"Hi Cherry," I replied.
"I thought you went to Little Heath," She said.
"No Maddie went to Little Heath I didn't," I sighed.
"Oh," she said. We had these little awkward, little conversations throughout math. Next I had french in L18.

I walked out of D block and bumped into Molly.
"French L18?" I asked her. She nodded. We found L block pretty fast as it wasn't too far from the D block exit. We found the classroom and sat down. The lesson was about the basics. Pretty easy as I learned it in primary school. We whizzed through french and soon the bell rang.
