Double update with a twist!

Everyone were aware of a pretty, happy, chirpy girl but there was a girl behind that mask who had her own set of insecurities and vulnerabilities which only ashwin observed and he loved that unfiltered sivaangi more than the perfect sivaangi.

One week passed and on the day of their cultural, ashwin frantically jogged here and there making sure all the arrangements were completed. He pressed some phone numbers and made sure everything is perfect. He stared at the stage and it looked amazing as their hard work were finally showing colours.

Sivaangi nervously took baby steps towards the stage when her chest number was announced for the singing competition. She stepped on the stage only to get few happy and scrutinized looks from people gathered there. Her eyes searched for those pair of eyes amidst the crowd and she could see him standing tall smiling at her. It brought a tingling sensation to her. Ashwin closed and open his eyes in assurance and mouthed an all the best to sivaangi.

She felt confident and happy. She felt secured that at least one person believed in her and at that moment nothing else mattered for her. She closed her eyes and began to sing her all time  favourite song.

She recollected how she met him for the first time. Those charismatic eyes showered so much of unknown happiness to her.

He helped her go through the right path of her life which she had wished. He tried to become that ray of light amidst all the darkness in her life.

She was drenched in painful memories but he tried to pull her out of it.

She was reminded of how he brought light into her life and how that light prevailed over the darkness. She didn't realize how badly she has been treated until he came and treated her the way she should be treated.
