Lani ran a fever last night but she seems in better spirits today. We were up most of the night with her, so I assumed she would be grouchy and pointing at things she wanted me or Nicki to grab, but she is content with her life at the moment.

I'm currently sitting on the couch watching Nicki play with her. She takes her baby doll's dress and put it on her head being absolutely ridiculous and it makes Lani shriek in laughter. My cheeks hurt from smiling at those two. Every once in a while, Nicki looks at me and smiles, her big goofy smile. I fall more in love with her every time I look at her but I fall even harder whenever I see her with Lani.

"Do you think she's okay to go to the photoshoot today?" Nicki asked as Lani started crawling to me.

"Yeah. I think she's just teething." I direct at my woman before picking up my little girl. "Look at all this drool! Are you getting those adorable two teeth babies have?" I wipe her drool covered face with my sweater sleeve and kiss her cheeks. She giggles before clinging to me. "I'll nurse her, she should sleep the whole way there and then maybe she will be ready to take some pictures."

3 HOURS LATER

I exited the elevator and began walking toward the studio. When I opened the door, I was met by my producer, who was seated and too preoccupied with his phone, and Beats on to realize that I had entered.

I went over to the couch and placed my bag on the couch before walking up to him and slapped him on the back of his head.

"You scared me. How long you been here?" He asked taking his beats off of his ears.

"I just got here. You need to be aware of your surroundings, I could've been anybody. Anyway how you been?" I gave him a side hug before pulling away from the hug wrapping my arms around myself.

"I been good. You been taking that break I told you to take?" He asked.

Mike advised me to take a few weeks off from recording because he thought I was placing too much pressure on myself. I certainly was and still am placing a lot of pressure on myself regarding this album, but I won't let him know that.

"Yeah. It was needed, Thanks."

"You good. How's Lani?"

"She's doing good, getting bigger and smarter every day. She just had a photoshoot this morning and right now she's with Nicki at her mother's house" I told him.

"That wassup. You ready to make some music?"

"Yeah." I let out a deep breath that I didn't even know I was holding. "Remember that song you said Ed Sheeran wanted me to be on the same day you told me to take a break?"

"Yeah. That's the one you wanna record?" He asked and I nodded "Aight go in the booth, Show me what you got." He said while pointing at the booth.

I removed the headphones from the stand and slipped them on once I got comfortable on the stool in the booth. As soon as I located the lyrics I had written for this beat in my notes I looked up to Mike.

He had his thumb raised and I nodded. I let the song play out before it was my turn to sing on the track.

"Well, I found a man stronger than anyone I know
