PROLOGUE:
There are a bunch of different people inside of my mind.
Ther'es one for mom, and one for dad, there's one for my brother. There's one for every other teacher. There's one for the students in band. There's one for the students in dance. There's one for the mean girls. There's one for the dorks. There's one for each person I've talked to, and each person I haven't.
And all the people in my head live sporadically. Never daring to come in contact with the others. Never gaining zeal to change. Never getting lost.
They're all stuck up there. All the many versions of myself. And the conscious part of my brain pairs and matches each personality with the person I address, and tries to remember who goes with who.
But if it forgets, the person in my head who is paired with the person in the real world dies. And there is no more contact wtih the person in the real world. It is silent. Eerie. Strange.
I try not to forget.
But sometimes I hate to remember.
