"So mom, did you watch the rest of Stardust Crusaders?" Layla asked, leaning over the seat to look at her. Mom nodded her head, smiling her as she tried to wiggle her hand free from Dio's grip while he frowned at the road reluctantly releasing her hand. "thank you," she huffed then kissed his cheek turning around in her seat to look at Layla, "yes! I don't know how I feel about it. Somewhat sad yet kinda happy."

"You're happy I died?" He asked, casting her a sideways glance that she returned with her warmest smile.

"Yes and no. I was sad almost everyone died." She sighed, resting her head on his shoulder poking his ear every now and then. "Will you cease and desist?" He grumbled as he shooed her out of his personal bubble. She snorted then stuck her pinky in his ear, retorting,"but you can fondle me anytime you want."

"I'll deal with you later." He chuckled darkly and parked in front of a simple white, two story house with a screened in porch. "Let's go." He said with a smirk as he got out. Me and mom were slack jawed while Layla clapped her hands excitedly before getting her umbrella and opened the door as well as the umbrella and hopped out. Grabbing my own I followed her up the steps looking around at the porch, pushing open the front door I looked back at them. Mom was standing on the sidewalk with her hands over her mouth, Dio standing behind her holding her umbrella and an arm dropped over her.

"It's yours if you want it." He said as he led mom up the steps and inside leaving our umbrellas on the porch. "It has seven bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One being in the master bedroom. You can still tend to all the children you desire. Now in the comfort of a home that isn't falling apart." He elaborated as he walked past us, motioning to the stair case, "three bedrooms upstairs and four on the main floor."

"I don't know what to say..." Mom murmured, hugging herself as she looked around. "There's so many windows and that glass isn't cheap..."

"Hush," He put a finger to her lips, then took her hand, murmuring tenderly against her knuckles, "I'll take care of it. All you have to do is move in."

"We're gonna move in right? This house is huge!" Layla squealed excitedly as she ran down the hallway to check out the bedrooms.

"(Y/n)... what do you think?" Mom asked, suddenly appearing next to me. Glancing at her I walked over to the stairs, looking up them then down the hall seeing all the doors been opened. "If you want too I guess..." I mumbled, sitting on the stairs, "I just wanna go home and shower."

"But I just got here!" Joylyn huffed, barging inside making my shake my head at her. "Let me guess, you live close by?" I asked as she nodded her head, grinning from ear to ear replying, "oh yeah, I saw Dio's truck from down the street so here I am! You guys moving in?"

"It's a nice house..." I murmured, leaning against mom as she wrapped an arm around my waist, "be a shame to let it go."

"Alright fine, I guess I'll let you buy me a house." Mom sighed then kissed my cheek before she was swept away leaving me with Joylyne, who nearly tackled me. "Oh yay! Now we can have sleepovers and all that good shit!" She squealed excitedly, hugging my tightly. Attempting to pry her arms off before she crushed me, I giggled, "yeah. Maybe you can stay the night when we move in."

"Perfect! I'll go tell mom! I'll see ya at school tomorrow!" She gave me another tight hug before running out the door, seeing everyone else had gathered in the doorway. The sky slowly turning to black, Layla motioned for me to hurry up as she said teasingly, "you wanted a shower right?" A smile tugged at my lips as I looped my arm through hers and we left the house, ready to go home shower and do homework. Then finally sleep.

"Hey... sleepy head it's time to get up." A soft voice murmured as something touched my cheek, making me grumble and roll over. Where did my headphones go? I put them on last night before I went to bed. Lazily opening my eyes and looking over my shoulder all I saw was one blue and one green eye staring back at me. Jolting upright launched mom off my bed, landing on the floor laughing. "Christ's sake mom! Don't do that." I spat, throwing my pillow at her as she held her sides, laughing, "I'm sorry but it's 7:30. Dio's plane leaves at 8, so you need to get up and get dressed." She sighed as she got to her feet, fixing her cardigan and left my room. Letting out a sigh myself I ripped off the covers and got up, looking out at the cloudy sky. Looks like it'll rain today... I hummed and pulled on my uniform deciding to wear a pair of (pick a color) knee high leggings. Leaving my room I picked up my bag and umbrella and made a beeline down the stairs barely squeezing out the door behind Layla.
