Xiao Zhan's POV
"Who's getting married to who?" Haikuan laughed as he squeezed Xing'er cheeks, his eyes already darting to his next target as Xue'er ran quicker than the wind, jumping over the couch.
Yibo laughed as I watched Xue'er continuing to run away from Haikuan, who tried to approach her.
"Not my cheeks, Haikuan ge ge~" Xue'er whined as my smile widened.
"Then stop running, Xue'er!" Xue'er stopped for a second, pouting before continuing her run through the room, bumping into me as I fell, a scream about to leave my mouth as I leapt backwards.
I shut my eyes tightly, ready for the fall on the ground when I got embraced by sudden warmth.
"Xiao Zhan ge ge! Are you okay?" I opened my eyes, a lot of heads in front of my sight as I closed my eyes again.
I'd rather get surrounded by blackness than see the same face thrice.
"Xing'er, Xia'er, Xue'er! Get out of the way and give Xiao Zhan some space," I peeked through one eye to see Yibo look at his sister as I inspected his face, noticing the mole beneath his eyes again.
It keeps catching my attention for some reason.
"I only wanted to see if he is okay, but now seeing him still alive, I can continue with my life, knowing my sister hasn't killed anyone." My mouth fell open as I turned my head to the girls, knowing it was Xia'er because of the cold tone the words got spoken.
"And what if your sister would have committed a crime?" Haikuan teased her, patting Xia'er head as she smiled coldly.
"I would probably pack my bag and leave to auntie Lily. I am not scared for Xue'er's sake, but for my own for clarification." Haikuan raised an eyebrow as Xing'er muffled a smile, and I looked up at Yibo who's eyes got directed at his family.
"I mean, Xue'er could blame Xing'er or me for killing someone!" Xia'er put her hands up in defence, a pout adorning her lips as everyone fell into a fit of laughter.
"Xia'er, you really have a backup plan for anything, don't you?" Yibo said, helping me stand up.
"Of course, if we didn't have Xia'er with her backup plans, Haikuan wouldn't be standing here after being poisoned by you Yibo ge ge!" I giggled as Yibo shot me a glare, followed by a pout.
"But jokes aside, are you okay, Zhan?" I nodded, picking up my notebook as Yibo held on to my arm.
I glanced at his arms holding mine, and a smile unconsciously crept up towards my face.
"Look, Haikuan ge, don't they look like mommy and daddy?" I frowned as Xing'er pointed at Yibo and me.
I quickly took my notebook, writing aggressively, as Yibo just stood next to me, leaning over my shoulder, his breath next to my ear, but not saying anything against the accusations.
I held up my board for them to read, "YIBO AND I ARE ONLY FRIENDS! F-R-I-E-N-D-S!"
Abruptly, I heard a laugh next to me before a soft blow of air tickled against my ear. I turned around; my wrist caught midway by Yibo, "I didn't know we were friends. But I would love to be your boy friend." My eyes widened as I slapped Yibo's hand away, proceeding to finally succeed in giving him a light knock against the head.
I pouted as I turned to Haikuan.
"Zhan ge~ Don't be so mean to me~ I said I wanted to be your boy friend, what is wrong with that?" I turned around, raising my hand as Yibo immediately retreated, putting on his puppy eyes.
"I mean, you said I was your friend, and I am a boy, so I am your boy friend, right?" I bit my lower lip in frustration, refusing to answer.
"He got a good point there, Zhan." I turned to face Haikuan, shooting daggers through my gaze as Xing'er proceeded to cover Xue'er's eyes with a smile.
I flipped a new page of my notebook, once again writing before holding it up for everyone to see, in particular, Haikuan.
"Could I still quit?" Haikuan grinned.
"No, you can't after signing that contract; even though you didn't sell your organs, you did sell your time and can now devote it to my three younger siblings here, though I think they have to watch themselves." I held my head oblique, raising an eyebrow as Haikuan nodded to someone behind me.
That was when I felt Yibo's warmth and pressure on my shoulder, I was about to slap him once again, but he retreads too quickly, sadly.
"Well, I hired you to babysit my sisters, but I think, now Yibo know you're their babysitter he will occupy all your time wherever you go he will follow you like an obedient lost dog." I groaned, shoving my face into my hands.
"Even if nature calls Zhan ge ge?" I peeked through my fingers, not understanding what Xue'er meant, and by the look on the other's their face, they didn't understand it either.
"She meant when Xiao Zhan has to go to the toilet," Xia'er said, sweetly smiling as I muffled a scream behind my hands, and Yibo fell into a fit of laughter, that gremlin.
He was just having the time of his life, embarrassing me.
"Well, on that part, Yibo might give you some privacy, Xiao Zhan," Haikuan said, laughing as he put his thumbs up; I wanted to smack him so badly!
"Jokes aside, what do you all want to eat for dinner?!" Haikuan cheerfully clapped into his hands as the three girl's eyes glowed up.
"Sushi," Xia'er said.
"Spaghetti!" Xue'er said, bouncing up and down the room.
"McDonald's!" Xing'er said, putting up her doe eyes.
"Xing'er, you know McDonald's is bad for you," Yibo said, patting her head as she pouted up to him.
Perhaps that gremlin had another side too-
"Yibo, what do you want to eat? And Zhan, are you staying for dinner?" I hummed, smiling.
"Well." Yibo glanced at me, and I knew the answer I was going to hear wouldn't be what I wanted to hear.
"Why don't we try Zhan ge's cooking skills?" MoThEr Of PiGs ThIs GrEmLiN!
So without a second thought, I flipped some pages back in my notebook, turning it towards them, showing the big "NO!" sign, something I had for moments like this.
But it was already too late as Haikuan looked at me apologizing, and the kids started chanting.
"Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food! Zhan ge's food!
