You and April were in high school and were pretty good friends.

One day when your parents were away for a vacation. You went to her house and met her parents.

And then, fell in love with her mom.

A year after you met them, her dad realized he couldnt take care of her anymore, so he walked out on them.

This gave you opportunity.

You and April were talking in class, it was almost the end of the day.

"April, can I come over after school?" You asked her

"After school?" She asked

"Yea! We can hang around by the pool!" You responded

"Hang by the pool?" She got a little suspicious

"Oh! And did your mom get back from her business trip?" You asked

"Hang on waitwaitwaitwait- Why the fuck are you asking all of this?" She slammed her fist on the table

"No reason...." You looked away

"You just wanna see my mom dont you??" She growled.

"Do you rememeber when i mowed your lawn?? Your mom came out with just a towel on!! I could TELL she liked me from the way she stared! AND the way she said 'you missed a spot over there~'" You giggled like crazy

"Fine, ill let you see her. But i doubt she'll try to hook up with you, youre only a teenager! Shes a whole ass adult!" April crossed her arms

After school you and April went over to her house

You walked into the house and greeted her mother "Hey there Miss Mearest!~"

She lookes at you "oh, hello there darlin" She smiled as she pat your head "Im glad to see you again sweetie."

April stomped her foot "MOM! DO NOT FLIRT WITH MY FRIENDS!"

She tilted her head "Huh? Im not flirting with them. I simply see them as another one of my children."

Your heart broke when you heard her say that.

"SEE?? I TOLD YOU SHE DOESNT WANT TO DATE YOU!" April yelled

Julia looked at you "Aw, youre one of those sweethearts who find me hot arent you?" She'd giggled "Im to old for ya darlin."

You sighed "I know."

Julia placed a hand on your head "At least you're somehow part of tbe family,even if youre not blood related" she smiled "Now I'm gonna go make dinnee for you two." She walked into the kitchen
