You yell, as you take of your shoes.

"Welcome back!"
Jess yells from your room-
Wait... Your room?

"Jess! What are you doing in my room!?"
You yell, still in front of the door.

"N-Nothing!"
Jess stutters, as you start to walk towards your room.

"What do you mean nothing?"
You say, getting suspicious.

...No reply...

"Jess? Are you ok?"
You say, now worried about your-

A sudden crash boost your worry, as you start to sprint.

"Jess!"
You yell, opening the doo-

You turn red at what you see, which is a completely naked Jess on your bed.

"U-Uh... I can explain?"
Jess says, hoping to regain her dignity.

"J-Jess... W-Why are you naked?"
You stutter, clearly hot and bothered, from Jess's naked form.

"U-Uhm..."
She says, making up an excuse, while as red as you.

"J-Jess, are you ok?"
You say, concerned at this point.

"Ok, look. I'll let you get dressed, and I'll go start up a video game, ok?"
You reason, with Jess giving a subtle nod.

You close the door, and go to the console, prepping up a fighting game, while Jess gets dressed.

"Ok... I'm done changing."
Jess says around the corner, worried about what you think about her.

You slowly smile, and tell Jess to step around the corner.

She does so, and she's looking down, still blushing, worried about what you will say.

You slowly get up, and walk over towards her

She... Braces herself?
Does she think I'll hurt her?

You stop in front of her, and pull her into a tight embrace, as she releases a small squeak of surprise.

"You know... I'll never hate you, Right?"
You say, making her happier than before, as she hugs back, and gives a nod

"In fact... I probably li-"
You start to try to confess, but the doorbell rings, ruining the moment.

'Was he about to... No, don't be silly.'
She thinks, disappointing herself.

"I'll go check who it is."
You say, sighing a sigh of relief.

'I probably would've gotten rejected anyway, so why say it?'
You think, bringing the depression back.

You and Jess, sit in your individual rooms, thinking about what happened.

'Was he/I really about to confess?'
You both think, unaware of the other thinking the same exact thing.

'Maybe I should go see her?'
You think, but quickly den-

Jess slams the door open, and leaps onto you.

"J-Jess!? What are you-"
You attempt to say, before she puts her finger on you lips.

"Sleep..."
She says, before falling asleep herself.

"O-OK... Goodnight Jess."
You say, as you fall asleep.
